• ROCO Connections: Here, There & Nowhere at Asia Society Texas Center | Wednesday, March 22 – ROCO Violin virtuoso Min-Jeong Koh has curated a meaningful program of works featuring Asian composers that tell the story of his and his sister—pianist Bo Yon Koh—immigrating from their native Korea. $45; $15 for students. 7pm.
• Sabrina Carpenter at Warehouse Live | Wednesday, March 22 – The actress and pop star is celebrating the release of her fifth album, Emails I Can’t Send, and will be stopping by H-Town while on tour. $39 and up. 8pm.
• Yeat at 713 Music Hall | Thursday, March 23 – Slayworld’s hottest mumble trap rapper, the mononymous Yeat, is bringing the Flawless vibes to the party when he stops in Houston to support 2023’s AfterLyfe. $39 and up. 8pm.
• Homenaje a la Mujer: A Tribute to Alice Valdez at MECA TBH Center | Friday, March 24 – A female-led cast of Mariachi MECA alumni and MECA Ballet Folklórico dancers present a wonderful tribute to Executive Director and Founder Alice Valdez, who has worked tirelessly to help the marginalized and underrepresented youth for more than forty years. $20. 7:30pm.
• Berklee Indian Ensemble at Wortham Center | Friday, March 24 – The world-renown, genre-bending Berklee Indian Ensemble are fresh off receiving a Grammy nomination for their debut album, Shuruaat, and are gracing the Wortham Center stage. $18 and up. 8pm.
• I Am King: the Michael Jackson Experience at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday, March 24 | FREE – The centennial season of Miller Outdoor Theatre’s programming is kicking off in a larger-than-life way with the King of Pop, featuring a real-life concert and dance experience replete with the music, moves, and style created by Michael Jackson. This performance features amazing renditions of Jackson’s biggest hits including “Bad,” “Billie Jean,” “Thriller,” “Man in the Mirror,” “Human Nature” and more. 8pm.
• The Magnetic Fields at the Heights Theater | Friday, March 24 – Fresh off celebrating the 30th anniversary and subsequent re-release of their album the House of Tomorrow, the enduring indie band is marking their 34th year with a tour and will be stopping in the Heights along the way. $28 and up. 8pm.
• Kem & Ledisi at Toyota Center | Friday, March 24 – Two R&B and soul juggernauts, Kem and Ledisi are reuniting for a special co-headlining tour and they’ll be swinging through Houston with special guest Musiq Soulchild in tow. $59 and up. 8pm.
• The Killers at Toyota Center | Saturday, March 25 – The time has finally come. Almost a year since the original date was rescheduled, the Vegas rock band are hitting the stage at Toyota Center and bringing a whole catalog of danceable tunes with them. $25 and up. 7:30pm.
• Jazzy Sundays: Lenora, with Jeremy Joseph at Emancipation Park | Sunday, March 26 | FREE – The Jazzy Sundays series wraps up at Emancipation Park before it heads over to Discovery Green next month. Houston singer-songwriter Lenora brings her “rhythm and groove” to the Third Ward stage, supported by the soulful sounds of Jeremy Joseph. 5pm to 7pm.
• The Acacia Strain at Warehouse Live | Sunday, March 26 – The death metal band from Massachusetts are celebrating the release of their 11th studio album Step Into the Light by thrashing their way to the Warehouse stage. $25 and up. 7pm.
• North Star Boys in Concert at House of Blues | Sunday, March 26 – Garnering more than 5 million fans on TikTok, the Asian American pop band stops by Houston as part of their 28-city tour. $20. 8pm.
