Night Market at Asia Society Texas Center | Friday, November 1 – Inspired by the traditional street markets popular across East and Southeast Asia, the annual Night Market invites all ages to experience AAPI culture through food, arts, and activities. First Anniversary Dinner at Belly of the Beast | Friday, November 1 & Saturday, November 2 – In honor of the first year of memories at their reimagined Spring restaurant, husband-and-wife restaurateurs Chef Thomas and Elizabeth Bille along with their team invite guests to indulge in a specially–curated menu alongside handpicked wines. 5:30pm and 7:30pm seatings.
Sando Pop Up at Money Cat | Saturday, November 2 & Sunday, November 3 – Chef Sherman Yeung is hosting his second Sando pop-up in celebration of National Sandwich Day, this time for a special two-day event. Guests can indulge in exclusive, Japanese-inspired Sandos, from the Money Cat Sando (chicken thigh katsu) and Egg Salad Sando to the Wagyu Sando (American wagyu, yuzu kosho aioli) and more. As part of the celebratory affair, Money Cat is partnering with Japanese coffee shop Kohiko Coffee House to offer specialty coffee pairings, including unique sips like the Okinawa Latte, Moshi Moshi, and Houjicoco with maple syrup, salt, and milk. 11am to 4pm.

Oysters, Brews, & Blues at Goode Co. Armadillo Palace | Thursday, November 7 – A Gulf Coast collaboration between Goode Company and the Coastal Conservation Association, Oysters, Brews, & Blues will bring locals a night of live Texas blues music, chef-curated Gulf Coast classics, and good times. Guests can savor coastal dishes cooked over mesquite wood, including smoked boudin links and Gulf redfish, plus favorites from smoked duck and andouille gumbo and shrimp etouffee to campechana and freshly shucked mariculture oysters. Tickets are $100 and include food and two complimentary cocktails. A portion of the event’s proceeds will go towards CCA’s Building Conservation Trust, ensuring the preservation of marine resources and enhancing anglers’ access. 6pm to 9pm.
Iron Sommelier at the Post Oak Hotel | Thursday, November 9 – The Periwinkle Foundation will host its Iron Sommelier wine competition and tasting, with some of the city’s most prestigious sommeliers competing for this year’s title in support of the foundation’s mission to positively change the lives of children, young adults and families who are challenged by cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. $250 and up. 6pm to 10pm.

19th Annual Delicious Alchemy Banquet at Hope Farms | Monday, November 11 – Hosted by the Recipe for Success Foundation, the Delicious Alchemy Banquet celebrates Houston’s culinary diversity with an all-female brigade of chefs, presenting a ten-course feast paired with wines, spirits, and botanical beverages. Shuck Cancer at Post Houston | Thursday, November 21 – The Houston Young Professionals for the American Cancer Society invites you to “save lives and shuck cancer” at the third annual Shuck Cancer Houston event. The foodie fundraiser and tasting will feature more than 25 top area restaurants, bars, and wineries offering guests a selection of wine and oyster pairings alongside a variety of other dishes. Participants include Auden, Cafe Piquet Cuban Cuisine, Eugene’s Gulf Coast Cuisine, Eunice, Eureka Heights Brewing, Field & Tides, Original Ninfa’s, Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House, Uchi, and more. Pearland Restaurant Weeks | Daily – Throughout November, Pearland restaurants will feature curated menus and specialty offerings, with a portion of every order supporting the Pearland Neighborhood Center. Enjoy fixed-price menus at $20 for 2-course breakfasts and lunches, and $35 for 3-course dinners. Hours and locations vary.
50th Annual Texas Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission | Every Saturday & Sunday, plus Black Friday – The Texas Renaissance Festival celebrates 50 years this fall, transforming its grounds into a 16th-century English Village complete with market vendors, enchanting artists and performers, and food and drink fit for a king. This month’s themed weekends (plus the day after Thanksgiving) include Pirate Adventure the first weekend of the month, followed by Heroes and Villains the next weekend, the Barbarian Invasion, then Highland Fling, and finally the 3-day Celtic Christmas starting on Black Friday.
