  • Toddler Tuesdays at Discovery Green | Tuesday, October 18| FREE – Discover a morning of fun with story time, activities, crafts, and smiles at Toddler Tuesdays at Discovery Green. Each Tuesday will feature a different storybook. 10:30am to 12:30pm.
  • Kidtastic at Memorial City Mall | Wednesday, October 19 | FREE – Join Memorial City Mall for a morning of fun with Gymboree Play & Music and Halloween themed crafts. For children ages 2 to 5 years old. 10am to 11:30pm.
  • A Frightfully Fun Family Evening at Southern Star Brewery | Wednesday, October 19 – Join Southern Star Brewery for A Frightfully Fun Family Evening that will feature games, food trucks, prizes, a photo booth, and even a dog costume contest. Tickets are $5 for kids and $10 for adults. 7pm to 9pm.
  • Zoo Boo at the Houston Zoo | Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23 – Bring your little pumpkins to the zoo for photos in the pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating, costume parades and more. Entrance to Zoo Boo is included with Houston Zoo admission. 9am to 1pm.
  • LEGO KidsFest Texas at NRG Park | Friday, October 21 through Sunday, October 23 – The LEGO KidsFest brings all of the creative hands-on, minds-on fun of LEGO building and experiences together in this three-acre activity and entertainment-packed family event at NRG Park. Tickets range from $19 to $22, not including ticket fees. Times vary each day.
  • Night Market at Asia Society | Friday, October 21 | FREE – This family-friendly Night Market sponsored by American First National Bank features exciting activities, food trucks, family activities, local vendors, and more. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Ghostbusters Day at The Children’s Museum | Saturday, October 22 – Bring the kids to enjoy Ghostbusters character appearances, activities, and don’t forget to bring your camera. Tickets are $12. 10am to 4pm.
  • Wings Over Houston at Ellington Airport | Saturday, October 22 through Sunday, October 23 – Take your little aviators to Ellington Airport for the Wings over Houston air show. Tickets are $60 per family. 8am to 6pm.
  • Halloween Classic Car Show at The National Museum of Funeral History | Saturday, October 22 – This family-friendly event features over 170 vehicles dressed up for Halloween along with a Haunted House, live music, and food trucks. Tickets range from $3 to $5. 10am to 4pm.
  • ArBOOretum at the Houston Arboretum | Saturday, October 22 – Bring the kiddos in costume to trick or treat at the Houston Arboretum. Tickets are $13 online preorder; $15 at the door. Free for members between 10am and 12pm. 10am to 4pm.
  • Magical Maze and Goose Bumps Haunted House at Museum of Natural Science Sugar Land | Saturday, October 22 – Bring the whole family for Spooky Saturdays at HMNS Sugar Land. Explore their magical Butterfly Garden Maze where you can play the pumpkin toss game, snap a photo, get your face painted, and do a little early trick or treating. Tickets are $3 for members and $15 for nonmembers. 10am to noon.
  • Tricks & Treats Among the Trees at Jesse H. Jones Park & Nature Center | Saturday, October 22 | FREE – Take the kids to a free trick-or-treat nature trail with crafts, live creepy critters, games, hayrides, a critter storybook trail, and more. Costumed trick-or-treaters are encouraged. 3pm to 7pm.
