  • Bust A Rhyme WonderWeek at The Children’s Museum | Monday, April 24 through Wednesday, April 26 – Experience fun literacy-inspired activities as The Children’s Museum of Houston celebrates poetry and the spoken word during Bust A Rhyme WonderWeek. Tickets are $12. Times vary each day.
  • Final Week of Body Worlds RX at The Health Museum | Tuesday, April 25 through Friday, April 28 – Take the family to see the final week of Body Worlds RX, an educational exhibit that illustrates how the human body responds to common diseases with over 75 real human body specimens. Tickets are $10; $8 for ages 3 to 12 and seniors 65 and older; free for members and children 2 and under; free on Thursdays from 2pm to 7pm for families. Times vary each day.
  • Toddler Tuesdays at Discovery Green | Tuesday, April 25 | FREE to Attend – Bring your toddler to learn about different themes each week at Discovery Green. Themes will include diversity, Easter, storybook time and more. 10:30am to 12:30pm.
  • Prelude Sing-A-Long Family Concert at The Woodlands Children’s Museum | Wednesday, April 26 – The Woodlands Children’s Museum transforms into a concert hall for a special interactive family musical experience. Tickets are $6. 10:45am.
  • Children’s Performance: Freedom Train at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday, April 27 | FREE to Attend – Watch Freedom Train, a performance about a mother and son who escape a plantation in Texas and journey to freedom along the Underground Railroad to Mexico in 1844. 11am.
  • Dia De Los Ninos at The Woodlands Children’s Museum | Friday, April 28 – The Woodlands Children’s Museum hosts an event for Children’s Day/Book Day, also known as El Dia de Los Ninos/El Dia de Los Libros, to emphasize the importance of advocating literacy for every child regardless of linguistic and cultural background. Tickets are $6. 10am to 5pm.
  • Museum Experience Day: Zone 2 in the Museum District | Saturday, April 29 – Explore zone 2 of the Museum District as museums offer free or discounted admission to check out exhibits, take part in crafts, witness re-enactments and more at places like HCCC and Asia Society. Prices vary per location.
  • Comicon Houston at Traders Village | Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 – Visit with comic book, Sci-Fi, and cosplay dealers along with artists from all over the world at the 2-day 2nd Annual Houston Comicon at Traders Village. This event is free to attend; $4 for parking. 10am to 5pm each day.
  • HERPS Conroe Exotic Reptile and Pet Expo in Conroe | Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30 – Buy or browse thousands of reptiles, amphibians, invertebrates, feeders, and supplies at this 2-day family friendly event. Enjoy kid’s activities along with games, prizes, and a photo booth to get your picture taken with exotic reptiles. Tickets are $10 for a one-day pass; $5 for children 10 and under. $15 for a two-day pass; $8 for children 10 and under. Times vary each day.
  • Caturday Morning Cartoons at El Gato Coffeehouse | Saturday, April 29 – Bring the family to join the resident cats for a morning of cat-themed ’90s cartoons at El Gato Coffeehouse. Tickets are $8 for children under 17 per hour; $12 for students per hour; $14 for adults per hour. 10am.
  • Garbage Island Children’s Theater Sketch Show | Saturday, April 29 – Rec Room Arts presents a new episode of its hit children’s theater show Garbage Island, a live interactive sketch performance for children ages 2 to 6. Tickets are $10 for adults and kids ages 2 and older. 10:30am.
  • FUNomenal Family Festival at Discovery Green | Saturday, April 29 | FREE to Attend – Bring the family and enjoy a day of activities, vendors, and live entertainment from musician JaeRene and DJ Astra at Discovery Green. 1pm to 6pm.
