- Indigenous Origins: Of Peace and Protest at the MATCH | Saturday, October 15 – Apollo Chamber Players pays tribute to those seeking refuge in this concert featuring the works of Syrian pianist Malek Jandali and Iranian-born composer Reza Vali. - Viva Latin America at the Wortham Theater Center | Sunday, October 16 – The Houston Latin American Philharmonic orchestra presents this celebration of Hispanic heritage, with a program of Bahia Blanca, Suite Guatapurí, Pajaro Campana, Barlovento, El Cumbanchero, and a tribute to Marco Antonio Muñiz (El Lujo de México).
