The Houston Texans and Houston Cougars both got their seasons off to promising starts in September, setting up an exciting October for football in Houston.

It seems like just yesterday that LeBron James delivered the city of Cleveland its first championship in decades, but the NBA season returns in October. Maybe the Rockets will come out of nowhere this year and bring a title back to Houston. Maybe the Texans will become the first team to win a Super Bowl in their home stadium. Probably not, but hey — if Cleveland can do it, so can Houston. Right?
