  • Bike to Work Day in the Energy Corridor | FREE – If you live and work in the Energy Corridor, you’re encouraged to leave the car at home and bike to work. Meet at the Terry Hershey Park Gazebo for giveaways and a light breakfast. 6:30am to 7:30am.
  • Vaccinations at Children’s Museum of Houston | FREE – Get your child’s vaccinations for free from the Texas Children’s Mobile Clinic when they park at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Stick around afterwards for free family night Thursday at the museum. Vaccinations available for children aged 6 months to 18 years; must have immunization records handy. 5pm to 7pm.
  • Blanket Bingo at Market Square Park – Lounge out on lawn chairs or blankets while enjoying a historic night out filled with music, fun and bingo. Admission includes a packet of bingo cards, which are good for about ten games. $10. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Shinyribs in Concert at Discovery Green | FREE – Hear a soulful concert from Shinyribs at Discovery Green. This event is part of the Sounds Like Houston! Thursday concert series at Discovery Green. 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
  • Dina Gachman Book Signing at Brazos BookstoreHear tips about living large on a budget from Brokenomics author Dina Gachman during this author appearance and book signing at Brazos Bookstore. $16 for a paperback copy of the book. 7pm.
  • Hooters 2015 Texas Swimsuit Pageant at Bayou Music CenterWatch Hooters girls compete for the crown during the Texas Divisional Swimsuit Pageant at Bayou Music Center. $34 with fees. 7pm.
  • Pachanga Latino Music Fest at Warehouse LiveGet into the groove during the Pachanga Latino Music Festival featuring headliners Kinky, Compass: M.I.S. + Toy Selectah and Ceci Bastida. $20. 8pm.

  • The Gum Ball at Hyde Park GalleryGet a sugar high at this Willy Wonka themed gala where music, dancing and a fine art auction await. $100. 8pm.
  • A Streetcar Named Desire at Wortham CenterWelcome the Scottish Ballet to the stage of the Wortham Center during a performance of A Streetcar Named Desire. $30 to $100; limited discounted $14 to $47.50 tickets available. 8pm.
  • ABBA in Concert at Arena Theatre – Experience the epic music of ABBA when this touring Swedish tribute comes to Houston’s Arena Theatre for one night only. $25 to $47.50; limited discounted $23.75 tickets available. 8:30pm.
