  • National Tequila Day 2016 around Houston Celebrate National Tequila Day Houston 2016 after work and into the evening at these great destinations in and around Greater Houston. There are countless spots all over Greater Houston to kick back a margarita or tequila cocktail, or even just sip the agave juice straight. Check out our full list of favorites at the link above.
  • The Artisan Market at the Phoenix – Visit with some unique makers, artisans, artists, and other small business owners. For this market, be prepared to shop, sip, and brunch with Market Houston and the Phoenix on Westheimer in Montrose. Free to attend. 11am tp 5pm.
  • The Curt Miller Magic Comedy Show at Moody Gardens Be amazed by this theatrical show that combines magic, illusions, and comedy at Galveston’s Moody Gardens Hotel. 1pm and 7:30pm.
  • Stand Up Paddleboard Lesson at 288 Lakes Get out on the water and learn how to stand-up paddleboard during this instructional event hosted by Bayou City Outdoors. Don’t forget your cooler and sunscreen. Tickets are $32, not including ticket fees. 2pm to 5pm.
  • Bat Boy: The Musical at The Kaleidoscope Watch the story of Edgar – a half human, half bat boy – in musical form during this show at The Kaleidoscope. Tickets are $30; limited discounted $15 tickets available. 5pm.
  • Submerge Houston: Free Music & Art Showcase | FREE Submerge hosts a benefit for local flood victims with live music, art, and raffles at EaDo’s Bar in the East End. 6:30pm to 11pm.
  • Koreatown: A Dinner at UnderbellyExcite your taste buds with flavors from Korea when Koreatown: A Cookbook authors Deuki Hong and Matt Rodbard collaborate with Chef Chris Shepherd on this special dinner. Guests will receive a signed copy of the cookbook. Cost of the dinner is $125. 7pm.
