- Hello Kitty Cafe Truck at The Woodlands Mall | FREE to Attend – Snack on super cute snacks from the mobile Hello Kitty Cafe Truck when it makes a pit stop by The Woodlands Mall. 10am to 8pm.
- Harvest Fest at Harvest Green | FREE to Attend – Head over to Richmond for a full afternoon of carving pumpkins, food truck grub, a farmers market, tours of the Village Farm, and gourd decorating at Harvest Fest. 11am to 4pm.
- First Saturday Arts Market in The Heights | FREE to Attend – Browse artwork and enjoy delicious bites and live music at the First Saturday Arts Market in the Heights. 11am to 6pm.
- Dia De Los Muertos Celebration at the National Museum of Funeral History – Celebrate the Day of the Dead with activities, sweet treats, story time for the kids and more at NMFH. $10. Noon to 5pm.
- Houston Margarita Festival at Sam Houston Park – Compete in the salsa dancing competition, see who makes the best margarita in town, jam to live music and more during the Houston Margarita Festival at Sam Houston Park. Tickets start at $25, not including ticket fees. Noon to 10pm.
- Homemade Hope’s BBQ, Beers & Cheers! at Midtown Barbeque – Enjoy all-you-can-eat barbecue, all-you-can-drink beer and wine, live music, college football, giveaways, and good company at this midday fundraiser in Midtown. Proceeds will help Homemade Hope continue their support and programming for kids living in homeless and transitional shelters. $60. 1pm to 4pm.
- Market on The Avenue at West Ave | FREE to Attend – This open-air market features music, refreshments, and fun for all ages with vendor booths set up outside as well as West Ave retailers like Tootsies, Ann Sacks, Milk+Honey, Stash and more opening their doors for an afternoon of shopping. $10 suggested donations benefitting the Houston Food Bank are appreciated. 1pm to 4pm.
- Rice Owls vs. Florida Atlantic at Rice Stadium – Cheer for the Rice University football team as they take on the FAU Owls at home. Tickets start at $19, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 2:30pm.
- Houston Wine Fest at Buffalo Bayou Park – Enjoy a festival filled with arts and crafts, vendors, food, and all the wine you can imagine at the 2016 Houston Wine Fest at Buffalo Bayou Park’s Water Works. Tickets start at $50, not including ticket fees. 3pm to 10pm.
- Star Wars The Force Awakens at Discovery Green | FREE – Catch a screening of Star Wars The Force Awakens under the stars at Discovery Green in Downtown. 7pm.
- Jon Secada in Concert at Dunham Theater – The Cuban American Grammy-winning artist will take the stage at HBU’s Dunham Theater for a live show. Tickets start at $48, but you may find limited tickets for $39. 7:30pm.
- Tommy Tune Tonight at Miller Outdoor Theater | FREE – Director, choreographer, and dancer Tommy Tune will return to his hometown of Houston in celebration of his 50-year long career for a performance at Miller Outdoor Theatre. 7:30pm.
- The Temptations and The Four Tops in Concert at Arena Theatre – Sing along to all your favorite hits like “Baby I Need Your Loving” and “My Girl” when The Temptations and The Four Tops roll through town for a concert. Tickets start at $39.50, but you may find limited discounted tickets. 8pm.
