  • Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo 2020 at NRG Park | Daily – Dust off your boots and head to NRG for the Rodeo, complete with carnival rides, rodeo competitions, and fried food, as well as nightly concerts from acts like Becky G, Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris and more. Rodeo grounds passes for entry into NRG Park start at $15; $5 for kids. Tickets for rodeo competitions and concerts start at $20, but you may be able to find tickets on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 8am to 9pm daily.
  • Camp David at the Alley Theatre | Daily − Based on the true story of a summit between President Jimmy Carter, Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, this drama by Lawrence Wright, Camp David, illuminates the very human elements behind the process of peace. Tickets start at $47. Showtimes vary.
  • Fefu and Her Friends at MATCH | Daily Presented by Catastrophic Theatre, Fefu and Her Friends is set in the 1930s and follows a group of eight friends as they meet in the home of their eccentric friend, Fefu. Tickets are pay-what-you-can. Showtimes vary.
  • Love & Make’s Candle Making Workshop in Rice Village | Daily – Design and create a personalized wax candle with help from the team at Love & Makes in Rice Village. The BYOB workshop also features handmade goods from local artisans to shop while your candles set. $45. Times vary.
  • Current Temporary and Traveling Exhibitions on Display at Houston Museums | Daily | Some FREE – Discover art, history, science, and fun for kids at Houston’s most popular museums and exhibition venues, including The Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH), Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS),  The Menil Collection, The Health Museum, Holocaust Museum Houston, Lone Star Flight Museum, National Museum of Funeral History, The Bryan Museum and more.
  • Stages Repertory Theatre presents The Fantasticks at The Gordy | Daily − Stages Repertory Theatre inaugurates their brand-new theater with the classic musical, The Fantasticks. The longest-running musical ever, it’s a charming story about young love, meddling parents, and how to endure through adversity. Tickets start at $25. Showtimes vary.
  • FPA presents The Great Divorce at the George Theater | Daily − The Great Divorce—C.S. Lewis’ mesmerizing fantasy about heaven, hell and the choice between them—comes to life with the author’s signature wit, amazing actors, and state-of-the-art stagecraft. Lewis’ characters take a fantastical bus trip from Hell to the outskirts of paradise. Each receives an opportunity to stay…or return to Hell, forever divorced from heaven. Tickets range from $49 to $89, but $30 tickets are available if you are under 30 and show ID at the box office, and limited discounted $33 tickets are available for all ages for most showsShowtimes vary.
  • Cirque du Soleil presents Alegría: In a New Light at Sam Houston Race Park | Daily − One of Cirque du Soleil‘s most popular shows, Alegría, returns to the big top at Sam Houston Race Park for a month of performances featuring gymnastic and athletic spectacles. Tickets start at $75, and vary in price by day and availability, but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-get seats on TicketNetwork’s resale website. Showtimes vary.
  • Yoga at Levy Park | Thursday and Saturday | FREE − Connect your body and mind as Bayou Bliss Yoga presents a free, hour-long session at Levy Park. The class will focus on breath control, simple meditation, and bodily postures that improve physical flexibility, strength, and mental relaxation. Times vary.
  • Dirt Dog Theatre Co. presents The Dead Eye Boy at MATCH | Thursday to Saturday – Watch the Houston premiere of The Dead Boy, Angus MacLachlan’s production that tells of addiction, manipulation and more, at MATCH. Tickets start at $25, but limited discounted $12.50 tickets are available for select shows. Showtimes vary.
  • Camels & Ostriches Races at Sam Houston Race Park | Friday and Saturday – Sam Houston Race Park hosts Camel & Ostrich Races in between live Thoroughbred Racing. Celebrity Riders will ride a camel in between our live races both nights and the winner will receive $500 for their charity. In addition, the Wild and Wacky Ostrich Races will feature experienced riders racing on ostriches. There will be 50¢ beer from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are $8. Racing begins at 6:45pm both days.
  • The Best of Broadway at Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday − The popular annual showcase of hits from the Great White Way, The Best of Broadway, returns to The Music Box Theater. The cabaret-style show features non-stop entertainment, including songs from Tony Award-winning musicals from across the decades. Full price tickets start at $32, but limited discounted $16.50 tickets are available for select shows. 7:30pm both nights.
  • The Eagles in Concert at Toyota Center | Friday and Saturday – Classic rock fans have a must-see concert to put on their calendar when The Eagles arrive for two nights to perform Hotel California in its entirety, plus a selection of greatest hits. Tickets range from $129 to $750, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 8pm both nights.
  • Cezanne Jazz Club Grand Opening at Birraporetti’s in Downtown | Friday and Saturday − Cezanne Jazz Club returns with a Grand Opening Celebration at its new location in the downstairs room of Birraporetti’s Theater District location in Downtown. The club’s owner, Saxophonist Woody Witt and his quartet will perform for the two night celebration. Cover is $15. 9pm to 12:45am both evenings.
  • 1984 at The Alley Theatre | Friday to Sunday − Based on George Orwell’s futuristic novel,  1984  brings us the story of Winston Smith and a stark vision of a world in which freedom of action, word, and thought are controlled by Big Brother. As the story of Winston’s fight for individual identity unfolds, the vision grows increasingly terrifying as the world it depicts grows uncomfortably familiar. A ferocious and provocative adaptation of one of the most prescient works of literature of the last century. Tickets range from $44 to $75. Showtimes vary.
  • Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort | Saturday and Sunday – Families and friends are welcome to the 2-week long Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Houston and an hour from Sugarland, the family-friendly resort destination offers a new lineup of engaging activities and special entertainment to ensure an unmatched Texan getaway. Prices vary per activity. Packages are available for purchase. All day both days.
  • Spring Break at Schlitterbahn | Saturday and Sunday – Take the whole family to make a splash at Schlitterbahn in Galveston for Spring Break. The Galveston indoor waterpark will then be open for two weeks from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 22, 2020. Spring break activities are included with general admission to the park. 10am to 5pm each day.
  • Spring Break at The Westin in The Woodlands | Saturday and Sunday – If you’re looking for an adventurous Spring Break close to home, look no further than The Westin in The Woodlands.
