- Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo 2020 at NRG Park | Daily – Dust off your boots and head to NRG for the Rodeo, complete with carnival rides, rodeo competitions, and fried food, as well as nightly concerts from acts like Becky G, Chance the Rapper, Maren Morris and more. Rodeo grounds passes for entry into NRG Park start at $15; $5 for kids. Tickets for rodeo competitions and concerts start at $20, but you may be able to find tickets on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 8am to 9pm daily.
- Camp David at the Alley Theatre | Daily − Based on the true story of a summit between President Jimmy Carter, Israeli Prime Minister Menachem Begin, and Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, this drama by Lawrence Wright, Camp David, illuminates the very human elements behind the process of peace. Tickets start at $47. Showtimes vary.
- Fefu and Her Friends at MATCH | Daily – Presented by Catastrophic Theatre, Fefu and Her Friends is set in the 1930s and follows a group of eight friends as they meet in the home of their eccentric friend, Fefu. Tickets are pay-what-you-can. Showtimes vary.
- Love & Make’s Candle Making Workshop in Rice Village | Daily – Design and create a personalized wax candle with help from the team at Love & Makes in Rice Village. The BYOB workshop also features handmade goods from local artisans to shop while your candles set. $45. Times vary.
- Current Temporary and Traveling Exhibitions on Display at Houston Museums | Daily | Some FREE – Discover art, history, science, and fun for kids at Houston’s most popular museums and exhibition venues, including The Museum of Fine Arts Houston (MFAH), Houston Museum of Natural Science (HMNS), The Menil Collection, The Health Museum, Holocaust Museum Houston, Lone Star Flight Museum, National Museum of Funeral History, The Bryan Museum and more.
- Stages Repertory Theatre presents The Fantasticks at The Gordy | Daily − Stages Repertory Theatre inaugurates their brand-new theater with the classic musical, The Fantasticks. The longest-running musical ever, it’s a charming story about young love, meddling parents, and how to endure through adversity. Tickets start at $25. Showtimes vary.
- FPA presents The Great Divorce at the George Theater | Daily − The Great Divorce—C.S. Lewis’ mesmerizing fantasy about heaven, hell and the choice between them—comes to life with the author’s signature wit, amazing actors, and state-of-the-art stagecraft. Lewis’ characters take a fantastical bus trip from Hell to the outskirts of paradise. Each receives an opportunity to stay…or return to Hell, forever divorced from heaven. Tickets range from $49 to $89, but $30 tickets are available if you are under 30 and show ID at the box office, and limited discounted $33 tickets are available for all ages for most shows. - Cirque du Soleil presents Alegría: In a New Light at Sam Houston Race Park | Daily − One of Cirque du Soleil‘s most popular shows, Alegría, returns to the big top at Sam Houston Race Park for a month of performances featuring gymnastic and athletic spectacles. Tickets start at $75, and vary in price by day and availability, but you may find cheaper, better, or hard-to-get seats on TicketNetwork’s resale website. Showtimes vary.
- Yoga at Levy Park | Thursday and Saturday | FREE − Connect your body and mind as Bayou Bliss Yoga presents a free, hour-long session at Levy Park. The class will focus on breath control, simple meditation, and bodily postures that improve physical flexibility, strength, and mental relaxation. Times vary.
- Dirt Dog Theatre Co. presents The Dead Eye Boy at MATCH | Thursday to Saturday – Watch the Houston premiere of The Dead Boy, Angus MacLachlan’s production that tells of addiction, manipulation and more, at MATCH. Tickets start at $25, but limited discounted $12.50 tickets are available for select shows. Showtimes vary.
- Camels & Ostriches Races at Sam Houston Race Park | Friday and Saturday – Sam Houston Race Park hosts Camel & Ostrich Races in between live Thoroughbred Racing. Celebrity Riders will ride a camel in between our live races both nights and the winner will receive $500 for their charity. In addition, the Wild and Wacky Ostrich Races will feature experienced riders racing on ostriches. There will be 50¢ beer from 6pm to 9pm. Tickets are $8. Racing begins at 6:45pm both days.
- The Best of Broadway at Music Box Theater | Friday and Saturday − The popular annual showcase of hits from the Great White Way, The Best of Broadway, returns to The Music Box Theater. The cabaret-style show features non-stop entertainment, including songs from Tony Award-winning musicals from across the decades. Full price tickets start at $32, but limited discounted $16.50 tickets are available for select shows. 7:30pm both nights.
- The Eagles in Concert at Toyota Center | Friday and Saturday – Classic rock fans have a must-see concert to put on their calendar when The Eagles arrive for two nights to perform Hotel California in its entirety, plus a selection of greatest hits. Tickets range from $129 to $750, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 8pm both nights.
- Cezanne Jazz Club Grand Opening at Birraporetti’s in Downtown | Friday and Saturday − Cezanne Jazz Club returns with a Grand Opening Celebration at its new location in the downstairs room of Birraporetti’s Theater District location in Downtown. The club’s owner, Saxophonist Woody Witt and his quartet will perform for the two night celebration. Cover is $15. 9pm to 12:45am both evenings.
- 1984 at The Alley Theatre | Friday to Sunday − Based on George Orwell’s futuristic novel, 1984 brings us the story of Winston Smith and a stark vision of a world in which freedom of action, word, and thought are controlled by Big Brother. As the story of Winston’s fight for individual identity unfolds, the vision grows increasingly terrifying as the world it depicts grows uncomfortably familiar. A ferocious and provocative adaptation of one of the most prescient works of literature of the last century. Tickets range from $44 to $75. Showtimes vary.
- Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort | Saturday and Sunday – Families and friends are welcome to the 2-week long Spring Break at The Woodlands Resort. Located just 30 minutes from downtown Houston and an hour from Sugarland, the family-friendly resort destination offers a new lineup of engaging activities and special entertainment to ensure an unmatched Texan getaway. - Spring Break at Schlitterbahn | Saturday and Sunday – Take the whole family to make a splash at Schlitterbahn in Galveston for Spring Break. The Galveston indoor waterpark will then be open for two weeks from Saturday, March 7 through Sunday, March 22, 2020. Spring break activities are included with general admission to the park. 10am to 5pm each day.

- Houston Rodeo: Becky G in Concert at NRG Stadium – The chart-topping pop singer recently dropped her debut studio album, Mala Santa, in late 2019 and now catapults to the Rodeo stage for her first appearance. - Cody Hibbard in Concert at Pacific Yard House | No Cover – Catch a live acoustic set by the local singer-songwriter, Cody Hibbard, at Downtown Conroe’s restaurant and venue, Pacific Yard House. 7pm.
- Bollywood & Bhangra Dancing Class at Levy Park | FREE − Work your entire body while dancing to the powerful beats of Bollywood music at this free Bhangra dance class in Levy Park. 7pm to 8pm.
- The Brewery Comedy Tour at Southern Yankee Beer Company − Southern Yankee Beer Company hosts the nationally touring Brewery Comedy Tour. The tour has already hit 1500 breweries across the U.S., featuring New York- and Los Angeles-based comics. Tickets are $14, but limited discounted $7 tickets are available. 7pm.
- Complimentary Texas Two-Step Lessons at Goodnight Charlie’s | No Cover − The hip Montrose honkytonk hosts a free, twice-monthly Texas two-step dance lessons, open to newcomers and experienced dancers alike. - Fat Tony, with Fade Em All, Michael LaCour at White Oak Music Hall (Upstairs) – Houston-native rapper Fat Tony returns home to celebrate the recent release of Wake Up alongside local punk band Fade Em All and avant-garde rapper Michael LaCour (a.k.a. B L A C K I E). Tickets are $10. 8pm.
- Ivy Queen in Concert at House of Blues – The “Queen of Reggaeton” singer-songwriter and rapper returns to Houston for an evening filled with hits that span her three-decade career. Tickets are $45, but you may find better or cheaper tickets using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 8pm.
- Bob Scheider in Concert at Dosey Doe: The Big Barn − The Big Barn in The Woodlands hosts Austin’s own prolific singer-songwriter and room-filler, Bob Schneider, for a solo performance. Tickets range from $22 to $32. Show at 8:30pm.
- Lorelle Meets the Obsolete at Satellite Bar – Out of Mexico City, this psychedelic-meets-noise duo defies definition with a whirling wall of sound. They appear in Houston for the first time since releasing their 2019 album, De Facto. Tickets are $10. 9pm.
- Femme Fatale at The Flat | No Cover – Get your groove on to hip hop, dance, Latin, Afropop, house music and more when all-female DJs spin every Thursday at The Flat. 10pm.

- First Friday Steak Night at Baileson Brewery | No Cover − Baileson Brewing Company hosts the award-winning Free Grillin Culinary team on the first Friday of each month. There will be $20 ribeye, $21 filet, $18 pork chop, and $16 salmon. There is no cover, but food and drink are on you, of course. 5pm to 9:30pm.
- Roller Rink Opening Night at Discovery Green − Head to Discovery Green park in Downtown for the opening of the Roller Rink. The first 50 guests will skate for free. Regular admission is $8; skate rental is $4. 5pm to 11pm.
- Agave Education Class with Morgan Weber at Revival Market – Agricole Hospitality co-owner Morgan Weber is selecting some of his favorite agave spirits for this special tasting class, where he’ll cover where they come from, how they’re made, and how they differ from other spirits. Expect grazing tables and passed bites paired with a variety of agave spirits. Tickets are $85 per person. Only 35 spaces are available. Reservations are required. 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
- Friday Night Live at Evelyn’s Park | FREE − Spend Friday night enjoying live music from local artists, food, drinks, and fun every week at Evelyn’s Park. 5:30pm to 8:30pm.
- French Cultures Festival Kick-off Concert at Discovery Green | FREE − The Cultural Service of the French Embassy in Houston presents the French Cultures Festival kick-off concert at Discovery Green. The family-friendly concert will feature local bands as well as contemporary bands from France. 6pm to 10pm.
- Houston Rodeo: Chance the Rapper in Concert at NRG Stadium – After being forced to cancel a recent tour, Chance the Rapper makes it up to Houston with his Rodeo debut. Tickets start at $20, but you may be able to find tickets on TicketNetwork’s online resale market. 6:45pm.
- F-Rated Fridays at Hamburger Mary’s − Enjoy dinner and a show when Cyn City and Blackberri host an evening of Friday-night drag entertainment at F-Rated Fridays at the LGBTQ-friendly Hamburger Mary’s. There will be $2 shots and a seafood dinner special. A $5 per person entertainment fee is added to the check. Shows are at 7pm and 9:30pm.
- Comedian Nikki Glaser at House of Blues − Crack up when the stand-up comedian and actress, Nikki Glaser, performs live at House of Blues for the “Bang It Out” Tour. Tickets start at $25. Doors at 6pm; show at 7pm.
- Sugar Brown: Burlesque Bad & Bougie Comedy Houston at the Secret Group − Sugar Brown presents a highly interactive, R-rated show at the Secret Group in EaDo. Sugar Brown is the alter ego of dancer Lanita Shera, who explores different facets of sensuality with her original burlesque productions. Burlesque is a sensual art form that incorporates dance, risqué costumes, and frank, friendly interaction. It elegantly celebrates a side of life we don’t always talk about. Tickets range from $25 to $50, but limited discounted tickets start at $20. 8pm.
- Marc Anthony in Concert at Smart Financial Centre – Heading into the summer of 2019, one of the best-selling artists of all time dropped his thirteenth studio album, Opus, and continues touring it through Sugar Land while on the “Opus Tour”. Tickets range from $71 to $227, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale website. 9pm.
- Rockett Queen in Concert at Pacific Yard House – Catch a live set but the rock band from Tyler, TX, Rockett Queen, at Downtown Conroe’s restaurant and venue, Pacific Yard House. $5 cover. 9pm.
- ComedySportz presents Improv! The Musical at CSz Arena − In Improv! The Musical, members of ComedySportz Houston take the stage and come up with the storyline, soundtrack, and choreography of a musical right before your eyes. The audience supplies them with a topic, and they take it from there at this monthly first Friday improv performance. Tickets are $16, but limited discounted $10 tickets are usually available.
