- Run Houston! at Minute Maid Park – The Run Houston series comes to Minute Maid Park in Downtown, where runners can compete in 5K, 10K and Kids K lengths. The course will take to the Elysian Bridge and back to Minute Maid, delivering great views of Downtown along the way. Registration is $50 for 5K and 10K; $30 for Kids K. 8:30am.
- 8th Annual Kids’ Day of Music at Love Park in the Heights | FREE – Get the kiddos interested in music at this festival made just for them in the Heights’ Love Park. Feel the rhythm from the Joy of Djembe Drumming group, learn how to craft beats on the computer, experience instruments and get creative at this free, family-friendly festival. 10am to 2pm.
- International Art & Kite Festival at Brazos River Park in Sugar Land | FREE – The Sugar Land park hosts an annual display of high-flying kits, art cars, cultural performances and more. 10am to 3pm.
- Paws on Parade at Discovery Green | FREE – Bring your pup for a parade through the Downtown park and vie for top prize at the costume contest that follows. 11am to 1pm.
- International Festival: A Taste of the Nations at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy | FREE – Celebrate the variety of cultures and cuisines in the Katy area with foods from local vendors, heritage performances and a globally-inspired artisan market, plus an area for the kiddos with a petting zoo. 11am to 3pm.
- Houston Holi at VPSS Temple – From Masala Radio comes the city’s—if not the country’s—biggest Holi festivals, featuring a live concert from Jay Sean, plus Bollywood dancing, DJs spinning tunes, dhol players, street foods, free carnival rides, giveaways and more. Early bird tickets start at $12; free for ages 4 and under. 11am to 5pm.
- Raxx Vintage Market at Sugar Land Town Square | No Cover – More than 50 vintage vendors will set up shop at Sugar Land Town Square for an afternoon market where you can find shirts, shoes and more. Noon to 6pm.
- Cooking with Honey at Houston Arboretum & Nature Center – Strap on an apron for this sticky and sweet cooking class where you’ll craft a savory honey grilled cheese sandwich and sweet honey nut truffles, while learning about its relationship to the environment and its many flavor possibilities. $45. 3pm.
- 10th Anniversary Extravaganza at Buffalo Bayou Brewing Co. – BuffBrew is turning ten, and it’s turning up big time with a big, bold 10th anniversary extravaganza. Tickets include access to the celebration, anniversary brews, live entertainment, giveaways, commemorative glassware and more. $40. 5pm to midnight.
- 14th Annual H-Town Blues Festival at NRG Arena – The return of the annual H-Town Blues Festival brings performers like Tucka, Calvin Richardson, Sir Charles Jones, Pokey Bear, Roi Anthony, Chick Rogers, and Jeter Jones to the stage at NRG Arena. $59 and up. 7pm.
- Comedian Jim Jefferies at Smart Financial Centre – You can catch the Sydney native and stand-up comic in his recent specials, Intolerant and This Is Me Now, as well as his self-titled Comedy Central talk show, which is streamable on Paramount+. Now, you can see the comedian take the stage in Sugar Land. $39.75 and up. 7pm.
- Comedian John Mulaney at Toyota Center – Two-time Emmy winner, SNL writer, and actor in Netflix’s Big Mouth, John Mulaney performs his latest material on the Toyota Center stage in Downtown. $35 and up. 7pm.
- Jesse & Joy in Concert at Bayou Music Center – The brother-and-sister Mexican pop duo bring many of their chart-topping singles and latest material from a forthcoming album to fans at Downtown’s Bayou Music Center. $25 and up. 7:30pm.
- Beach House in Concert at House of Blues – Their first release in four years, Once Twice Melody marks Beach House’s return with a double album of songs that have been trickling out since November 2021. $35 and up. 8pm.

- Run for the Rose 5K & Family K at University of Houston – This 19th annual charity run raises funds for brain cancer research in the name of Dr. Marnie Rose, who lost her life to the disease in 2002. Those participating will follow a stroll, 1K, or 5K route snaking through a part of the University of Houston campus. Early bird registration (before March 24) is $30 for ages 13 and up ($35 for timed 5K); $8 for ages 3 to 12 ($12 for a timed 5K). 8am.
- Annual Hermann Park Conservancy Kite Festival at Hermann Park | FREE – Go fly a kite up to the highest height at the kite festival in Hermann Park. The festival will see thousands of kite flyers running around Hermann Park, enjoying a day of friendly kite-flying, activities, entertainment, food, games, and more. 10am to 5pm.
- Turkey Leg Hut Festival at Turkey Leg Hut | FREE – After a two year delay, the Turkey Leg Hut Festival returns to Almeda Road, shutting it down for featured performances from Step Rideau & the Zydeco Outlaws and Inayah, along with dozens of local vendors, kids activities, DJs and more. 11am to 6pm.
- Salute to the ’80s at League Park in League City | FREE – Get a sneak peek of Bay Area Houston Ballet & Theatre’s upcoming production while you celebrate the ’80s with live music, a trivia competition, games and food trucks. Noon to 4pm.
- Bellaire Open Air HTX Market at Evelyn’s Park | No Cover – Stop by the Bellaire public park in the afternoon to shop from local artisans and small businesses at this monthly outdoor market. Noon to 4pm.
- A Texas Wine Experience at The Phoenix on Westheimer – Take a tasting tour of Texas wine, paired with Texas barbecue, Gulf shrimp and Gulf oysters. $15 for a white wine flight; $20 for a red wine flight; $35 for both. Noon to 6pm. Noon to 6pm.
- Ars Lyrica presents An Uncommon Chevalier at the Hobby Center | Virtual Option – Guaranteed to transport audiences to a lively Parisian concert hall in the 1780s, this performance is part of the larger French Cultures Festival and features works by Mozart and Haydn. $25; $10 for a virtual ticket. 2:30pm.
- White Men Can’t Jump Movie Screening at Rooftop Cinema Club – Catch the 1993 classic starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson at a rooftop screening in Uptown. $18.50. 5pm.
- The 8th Wonder Comedy Hour at The Secret Group – Shake off the Sundays with a hilarious powerhouse of comics, headlined this week by Dusti Rhodes, a staple in the Houston comedy scene who has been making audiences laugh for over a decade. $8 includes entry, an 8th Wonder beer, and a souvenir pint glass to take home. 6pm to 8pm; comedy starts at 6:30pm.
- Tyler the Creator in Concert at Toyota Center – Performing his most recent work, Call Me If You Get Lost, Tyler the Creator heads to Downtown for a highly anticipated show which also features Kali Uchis, Vince Staples and Teezo Touchdown. $59 and up. 7pm.
- Comedian Max Amini at Wortham Theater Center – The globally touring comedian and host of the Wild Truth Podcast comes to Wortham Center for a one night–only event. $35 and up. 7pm.
- Todrick Hall in Concert at House of Blues – Touring his 2021 release, Femuline, the singer and choreographer with appearances on RuPaul’s Drag Race, Celebrity Big Brother, and The Masked Singer comes to Downtown for a can’t miss performance. $30. 8pm.
