  • 3rd Annual Beaumont Restaurant Week | Daily – Dine out all month long while taking advantage of amazing deals at more than 50 area restaurants in Beaumont during the third annual Beaumont Restaurant Week featuring special fixed price meals and both dine-in and to-go options. $10, $20, and $30. Location and times vary.
  • ROCO Connections: Journey to America Online Concert | Daily | FREE | Virtual – Witness the world premiere of Afghan composer Milad Yousufi’s latest piece as ROCO concludes their 2020-21 Connections series. The piece consists of five short movements that make use of narration, describing Yousufi’s journey from his dramatic birth story in Kabul to becoming a refugee in New York City. Viewable on ROCO’s Facebook and YouTube, as well as their website. Premieres at 7pm and will remain viewable online after it debuts.
  • SPA presents Art Heist: A True Crime Walking Experience in Downtown | Daily – Crack the case of history’s biggest art heist during this 90-minute outdoor, family-friendly and socially distanced walking theater experience in Downtown, where you’ll try to piece together clues from interesting characters you meet along the way. Event ends on Sunday, March 28. Limited to no more than thirty attendees per session, with start times staggered every half hour. $39.50 to $44.50 per person. Showtimes vary.
  • There Is An Instant Exhibition at Archway Gallery | Daily | FREE – Catch the opening of Archway’s March 2021 exhibition, There Is An Instant, featuring works by artist Silvia PintoSouza that explore the fleeting moments of sunsets as well as life, inspired by 19th century Colombian poet Guillermo Valencia’s eponymous poem. The exhibition will be on display through Thursday, April 1, 2021. Times vary.
  • Shinyribs in Concert at The Heights Theater| Thursday and Friday – Tap your toes to the swamp-pop-soul supergroup Shinyribs, when they bring their brand of Gulf Coast roots music to The Heights’ stage for four socially distanced shows. Tickets start at $24 to $384.6pm and 8:45pm both nights.
  • Spring Break To Go at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft | Thursday to Saturday | FREE – Explore crafts with the kiddos with a kit of hands-on activities that can be picked up before and during HISD’s Spring Break. Limit four kits per family; pick-up is available Thursday through Saturday 10am to 5pm at HCCC.
  • Comedian Tim Dillon at Houston Improv | Thursday to Saturday – Prepare yourself to crack up at the in-your-face observations of writer, actor and podcast host Tim Dillon, who was deemed New York’s Funniest Comedian at the 2016 Carolines NY Comedy Festival. He’ll be in town for five socially distanced stand-up sets. $54 for two people; $108 for four people; $162 for two people; preferred tables start at $74 for two people. Showtimes vary.
  • Saint Patrick’s Weekend Bash at Bobcat Teddy’s | Friday to Sunday | No Cover – Don your best green attire while satisfying your ears and tastebuds during three days of Saint Patrick’s Day festivities featuring live music, crawfish from Clutch City Crawfish, etched glassware and more, at Bobcat Teddy’s outdoor parking lot celebration on White Oak Boulevard in The Heights. Times vary.
  • Houston Symphony: Mark Nuccio Plays Copland at Jones Hall | Friday to Sunday | Virtual Option – Houston Symphony welcomes Principal Clarinet Mark Nuccio for an evening of virtuosic performances featuring Copland’s Clarinet Concerto, Beethoven’s lively Symphony No. 2 and works from the innovative Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson. $29 to $109; Virtual performance available on Saturday. Showtimes vary.
  • Coastal Distancing on Galveston Island | Daily – Practice “coastal distancing” on the island this Spring Break and even further down the fishing line when Galveston Island presents visitors with escape options including museums, beaches, nature, patio dining and more outdoor and socially distanced opportunities. Location, time and prices vary.
  • ROCO presents ROCO Unchambered: Blackbird Virtual Concert | Daily | FREE | Virtual – The musician-curated Unchambered series comes to an end with the ROCO Brass Quintet performing contemporary works that include Joan Tower’s “Copperwave,” Robert Dennis’ “Blackbird Variations,” and an arrangement of The Beatles’ “Blackbird” by Seb Skelly. 5pm; available to view after premiere.
  • Opening & Closing Exhibitions & Installations in Houston: March 2021 | Daily – Grab a last look or first glimpse at opening and closing museum exhibitions and installations as March sees the close of exhibitions throughout the Greater Houston area, including at The Bryan Museum in Galveston, Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, and Blaffer Art Museum on the University of Houston’s campus.

  • Kingwood Farmers Market at Town Center Park | No Cover – Shop for fresh homegrown fruits, vegetables, jams, baked goods and more at the Farmers Market in Kingwood Town Center Park. 3pm to 7pm.
  • Ladies Night: Cheeseboard & Wine Bottle Pairing at Pour Behavior | No Cover – Pair a delicious cheeseboard with a bottle of vino for a night out, with live tunes from DJ Johnny Mac. $20. 4pm to midnight.
  • Collaboration Dinner & Texas Winter Storm Relief Fund Benefit at Bludorn Dine out for a cause while enjoying a decadent dinner featuring national chefs, including Per Se alum chef Matthew Peters and Boulud Sud’s former executive chef, Travis Swikard, serving up a five-course menu with optional wine pairings and a dessert from Bludorn’s pastry chef, Alejandra Salas. $105 per person; $35 for children under the age of 10, excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity. 5pm to 10:30pm.
  • Jazz Night at Finn Hall | No Cover – Head Downtown to enjoy an evening of jazz music from Tiana Hall and the Houston Jazz Band over dinner or drinks. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Adrian Michael in Concert at One Fifth Southern Comfort | No Cover – Tap your toes to the singer-songwriter tunes of Adrian Michael when the Houston native performs on the patio at Chef Chris Shepherd’s One Fifth in Montrose. Reservations are recommended. Food and drink prices vary. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Rothko Chapel’s Rothko in Jazz with Maris Briežkalns Quintet on Vimeo | Virtual – Honor abstract painter Mark Rothko’s Latvian heritage when Rothko Chapel hosts a virtual concert featuring Latvian jazz ensemble the Māris Briežkalns Quintet performing works inspired by iconic Rothko paintings. Free with registration; suggested donation of $5 to $20. 6pm.
  • Thursday Jazz with Houston Ensemble at 8th Wonder Brewery | No Cover –Head to EaDo for an evening of live jazz under the stars while sipping on local brews from 8th Wonder Brewery. 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
  • Craft Quiz Co. Fundraiser at Southern Star Brewing Company | No Cover – Test your trivia knowledge for a good cause while throwing back a few local brews when Southern Star Brewing Company hosts a trivia night benefiting Texas Children’s Hospital. 7pm to 9pm.
  • HTX Eats Pop Up Series at Bovine & Barley Enjoy a chef-led pop-up dinner from Hot and Buttered at Bovine & Barley in Downtown. 7pm to 10pm.
  • PAACK in Concert at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck | Virtual Option – Hear rock tunes from talented Austin-based quintet PAACK, when the all-woman band takes the stage at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck in Upper Kirby for a socially distant performance that will also be broadcast online. $120 for a table of four; $180 for a table for six; virtual ticket to support the band is $30, though the performance is viewable for free on YouTube. 7pm.
  • Aaron Lewis in Concert at Bayou Music Center Check out a set from lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist and founding member of rock band Staind, Aaron Lewis, when he hits the stage at Bayou Music Center in Downtown. $39.50 to $169.50. 8pm.
  • Liquor & Laughs at The Brass Tap | No Cover – Get your laughs out in the heart of Midtown when Brass Tap After Dark presents a comedy show featuring area-favorite comedians, drink and wing specials and more. 8pm.
  • Tyler McCollum in Concert at Dosey Doe Big Barn Head to the Woodlands to hear a live set from Conroe singer-songwriter Tyler McCollum when he takes the stage to perform his country, Americana, and blues tunes at Dosey Doe Big Barn. $10 to $15. 8:30pm.

  • Opening of Time No Longer by Anri Sala at Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern – Get a first glimpse at Buffalo Bayou Park’s third commissioned installation, Time No Longer by Anri Sala. Viewable in half hour segments, visitors are treated to an other-worldly immersive film and sound experience within the city’s former subterranean water reservoir. On view through Sunday, December 12, 2021. $12. 10am to 6pm.
  • Fish Taco Fridays at Feges BBQ in Greenway Plaza & Urban Harvest Farmers Market – Every Friday during Lent, Feges BBQ will be serving up a duo of smoked fish tacos, served on flour tortillas, topped with thinly sliced red cabbage and house Alabama white bbq sauce. Get it with your choice of one side. $12, plus tax. 11am to 2pm.
  • Fish on Fridays at Saint Arnold Brewing Company Satisfy your seafood cravings with a tasty order of Fish and Chips or a Blackened Catfish Po’boy each Friday during Lent when Saint Arnold’s Brewery hosts a Lent-friendly occasion that features dine-in, drive-thru, and curbside pickup. Menu prices vary per item. 11am to 10pm.
  • Midtown Houston presents Virtual Text Breakers | FREE | Virtual – Take part in a virtual comedy game show where guests can enjoy trivia, drawing games, tune recognition and more when Midtown Houston hosts their Text Breakers event online. 5pm to 6pm.
  • Suzanne’s Band in Concert at Walking Stick Brewing Company | No Cover – Get a healthy dose of Americana music while sipping local brew when Walking Stick Brewing Company in Shady Acres presents a live performance by the country-rock group, Suzanne’s Band. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Scotty Alexander, Holly Tucker and Darrin Morris in Concert at Dosey Doe Big Barn Head to The Woodlands to hear sets from area singer-songwriters Scotty Alexander, Holly Tucker, and Darrin Morris, when they take the stage at Dosey Doe Big Barn for an in-person performance. $10 to $15. 6:30pm.
  • Justin Furstenfeld of Blue October in Concert at White Oak Music Hall Best known for his time spent as the lead vocalist and guitarist of Houston rock band Blue October, Justin Furstenfeld returns to the city to play a live solo set at White Oak Music Hall in the Heights. $150 and are sold by tier with up to 6 people per ticket. 6:30pm.
  • Midtown Houston presents Virtual Eats & Beats | FREE | Virtual – Support area restaurants while vibing to live tunes when Midtown Houston hosts an online virtual Beats & Eats, featuring music from Athenz and Madeline Edwards, with a spotlight on Tacos A Go Go. Free to watch, but food is on you. 6:30pm to 8pm.
  • St. Elmo’s Fire Movie Screening at Market Square Park | FREE – Get outdoors for a screening of the ’80s film, St. Elmo’s Fire, starring Emilio Estevez about a group of recent college graduates who embark on a series of misadventures in the real world, at Market Square Park in Downtown. 7:30pm.
  • Night Light Bike Ride: The South Got Something to Say Houston at Letsdothishouston Vibe while on an early evening LED bike ride through the city while listening to an all-Houston playlist, featuring artists and producers from the H-Town music scene. $12.99; $29.77 including bike rental. 7:30pm.
  • Sugar Land Movie Night Drive-In: Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle Screening at Crown Festival Park Play for your life during a family-friendly movie screening of 2017 animal-filled movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Kevin Hart and Jack Black, Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle about a couple of kids who must beat their game to return to the real world at The Sugar Land Movie Night Drive-In. $20 per car; tickets must be purchased online in advance. No tickets will be sold at the gate. 7:30pm.
  • Blond-ish: A Tribute to Blondie at Warehouse Live | No Cover – Dance the night away to ’80s favorites including “Heart of Glass” and “Call Me” when Blond-ish pays tribute to the new wave band, Blondie, at Warehouse Live. Lectric Eye, a David Bowie tribute band, and Battlefield, a tribute to Pat Benatar, open the show. There is no cover for general admission tickets; seated tickets range from to $10 to $20; $150 for a VIP table. 8pm.
  • Filth: A Stand Up Show at Rudyard’s British Pub – Fall out of your chair laughing during an evening of uncensored comedy from local stand-up comedians, where nobody is safe and even the crowd risks getting roasted by the two hosts. $8 in advance; $10 at the door; $40 for a reserved table. 8pm and 10pm.
