Houston Texans Training Camp at NRG Stadium | Saturday and Sunday – See returning favorites like J.J. Watt train alongside new teammates like Jadeveon Clowney at the 2014 Houston Texans Training Camp. You can likely find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. 8am to 10:30am.- Houston Astros vs. Miami Marlins at Minute Maid Park | Friday through Sunday – The boys from Dade County arrive to take on the Astros in this weekend series. You can likely find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale market. Times vary.
- Abilities Expo at NRG Center | FREE | Friday through Sunday – This gathering for people with disabilities, their families and others offers workshops, speakers, sports, dance, assistive animals and more. Admission is free but NRG requires a $10 cash parking fee. Friday and Saturday 11am to 5pm; Sunday 11am to 4pm.
- Pippi Longstocking: The Family Musical at Main Street Theater | Saturday and Sunday – Enjoy the good-natured hijinks of Pippi Longstocking as she gets into as much trouble as fun in this upbeat, slapstick musical for the whole family. Recommended for Kindergarten and up. Tickets start at $13. 2pm and 5pm; 10am matinees for select audiences.
- A Streetcar Named Desire at Stage Door in Pasadena | Friday through Sunday – Tennessee Williams’ Pulitzer-winning drama tells of a steamy summer in New Orleans’ French Quarter, as vulnerable Blanche DuBois seeks shelter at the apartment of her pregnant sister Stella and Stella’s husband Stanley. $20; Discounted $10 tickets available. Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 3:30pm.
- Defy Gravity Musical Revue of Stephen Schwartz’ Broadway Classics at Obsidian Art Space | Friday through Sunday – Grammy Award-winning and Tony-nominated lyricist and composer, Stephen Schwartz is responsible for the classic musicals Godspell, Pippin, Wicked and Children of Eden. Experience a song and dance tribute to his works. $42.50; discounted $21 tickets available for a limited time.

- Pop-Rock Musical Godspell at Grace Theater – Grammy and Oscar-winning composer and lyricist Stephen Schwartz (Wicked, Pippin) uses the Gospel of Matthew and an eclectic pop-rock score to retell the story of Jesus and his disciples through a series of charming and comedic scenes. Starts at $32, but $16 discounted tickets are available. 8pm.

- “Changing Language: Changing Worlds” Mural Project Block Party | FREE – See the unveiling of joint creation of Lebanese graphic artist Pascal Zoghbi and Houston graffiti artist DUAL. The new mural on this side of the Printing Museum will be celebrated with a block party featuring food trucks, free Saint Arnold beverages and tunes by local DJs Chris Meshak and Shermin Williams. 6pm.
