- Houston Astros World Series Trophy Viewing at Lone Star Flight Museum – Snap a photo with the Houston Astros World Series Trophy against a background of historic aircraft at the Lone Star Flight Museum. Tickets start at $9.95. LSFM Members are invited to an exclusive preview from 9:30am to 10am. General public view is from 10am to noon.
- Beefsteak Luncheon at B&B Butchers & Restaurant – Ditch the plates, utensils, and napkins for this formal, beef-centric feast, based on a New York tradition that dates back to the mid 19th Century. B&B Butchers will serve up fries with truffle aioli, beef tenderloin, Parker House rolls, mac and cheese balls, meatballs, and carpetbagger, accompanied by live music, a silent auction, and a raffle. $95. Noon to 3pm.
- Backyard Pub Crawl in the Heights | No Cover – Join Eureka Heights for their very first pub crawl through some of the neighborhoods hottest bars and restaurants, including Providence Bar, McIntyre’s, Bungalow Heights, Cedar Creek Bar & Grill, and Wicklow Heights. 1pm to 5pm.

- Enchanted Clubhouse Events presents A Super Magical Experience at The Cypress Alamo – Bring the kids to The Cypress Alamo for balloon animals, face painting, a photo booth, sweet treats, door prizes, light appetizers, and plenty of other magical activities. - Bri Bagwell in Concert at Boots ‘N Beats on the Beach Food Truck and Country Music Festival in Galveston | FREE – Escape to Stewart Beach in Galveston for a free country music concert headlined by Bri Bagwell and dig into tasty bites from five popular regional food trucks. 3pm to 7:30pm.

- PG-Rated Family Friendly Comedy Show with Greg Warren at Joke Joint Comedy Showcase – The hilarious touring comic performs a comedy show for ages 10 and up (in addition to his four evening sets this weekend). $16. 4:30pm.
- Sawyer Flea: Summer Night Market | No Cover – Browse a curated outdoor market featuring local craftsmen, artists, food vendors, collectors, and more than 35 small businesses. Shoppers can snag handmade and vintage items, artisan foods, and one-of-a-kind products. 5pm to 10pm.
- Houston Roller Derby at Revention Music Center – Watch as two Houston Roller Derby teams go head-to-head in a bout at Revention Music Center. Tickets start at $15. 6pm.
- Julydoscope at Discovery Green | FREE – Hang out at Discovery Green for a family-friendly film festival, featuring a screening of the short film series, CineSpace. In addition, you can win giveaways, watch performances, and engage in a variety of activities. 7pm to 10pm.
- Sugarland in Concert at Smart Financial Centre – See the Grammy- and CMA-winning country music duo, Sugarland, when they take the stage at Smart Financial Centre for the Still The Same Tour. - Chris D’Elia at Improv Houston – Crack up at a comedy show from stand-up comedian, actor, writer, and podcast host Chris D’Elia when he performs a show at the Improv. 7pm and 9:30pm.
- Buyer & Cellar at Main Street Theater – Explore the love/hate relationship between certain gay men and divas when a struggling actor takes on a day job working in the home of Barbara Streisand in Buyer & Cellar at Main Street Theater. Tickets start at $36. 7:30pm.
- Houston Dynamo vs. FC Dallas at BBVA Compass Stadium – Cheer on the Dynamo as they play Dallas in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Tickets start at $24, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. 8pm.
- Oleanna at 14 Pews – Take a seat for Oleanna, David Mamet’s politically relevant play that follows a college professor who is accused of sexual harassment after discussing a paper with his female student. Tickets start at $15. 8pm.
- Astronomy Night at Lone Star Flight Museum – Bring your friends and family out to the Lone Star Flight Museum for stargazing on their ramp. The University of Houston Astronomy Society brings their premiere telescope equipment for an optimal view of Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, and Mars. Tickets are $5. 8:30pm to 11pm.

- BrisketU Backyard Pitmaster Class at Eureka Heights Brewing Co. – Discover best practices for smoking brisket and other cuts of beef, pork and fowl during this hands-on workshop taught by experienced pitmasters at Eureka Heights Brewing Co. - Counting Crows in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – Celebrate more than two decades of music from the Counting Crows, when the iconic band stops at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on the worldwide 25 Years and Counting tour. - Seether in Concert at House of Blues – Rock out to songs like “Broken,” “Fine Again,” and “Fake It” when South African alternative rock group Seether brings their Poison the Parish World Tour to Houston’s House of Blues.
