- Market in the Park at Evelyn’s Park – Stroll through aisles of local vendors at this outdoor market at Evelyn’s Park in Bellaire. 9am to 2pm.
- BrisketU Backyard Pitmaster Class at SpindleTap Brewery – Learn how to cook the perfect brisket, from picking the cut to trimming, smoking, and serving it, at this pitmaster class at SpindleTap. $74. 10am to 1pm.
- Arbor Day in The Woodlands | FREE – Celebrate Arbor Day with free tree seedlings, a birthday party for Puffy Pine Cone, inflatables, face painters, and music at Hughes Landing. 10am to 2pm.
- The Sandlot Cast Meet and Greet at Baybrook Mall – Meet four actors from the movie The Sandlot and get an autograph or snap a photo at this meet and greet at Baybrook Mall. Tickets start at $20. 1pm to 4pm.
- Benefit Concert at Walter’s Downtown – Head to Walter’s Downtown for a concert benefitting Houstonian Ashey Clos, who is battling cancer, featuring performances from Wild Moccasins, Buxton, BLACKIE, Narcons, Young Mammals, and Limb. Tickets are $10 and all proceeds will go to Clos’ past and future medical expenses. 7pm to 11pm.
- The Best of Enemies at A.D. Players Theater – This historical play, based on the bestselling book by Osha Gray Davidson, will take you through the desegregation of Durham, North Carolina in 1971 on stage at A.D. Players Theater. Tickets start at $25, but limited comped tickets may be available. 7:30pm.
- Houston Rockets vs. Golden State Warriors at Toyota Center – Cheer loud for the Rockets when they hit the court to play the reigning NBA Champions, the Golden State Warriors, in their second game this month at Toyota Center. Tickets start at $90, but TicketNetwork’s online resale market might offer better cheaper tickets. 7:30pm.
- 4th Annual Bayou City Burlesque & Circus Arts Festival at Warehouse Live – World renowned burlesque, circus, and sideshow acts will entertain, and the Bayou Bazaar will be open for exploring between acts at this annual burlesque and art extravaganza. $25. 8pm.
- Fetch Clay, Make Man at the Ensemble Theatre – Get a first look at Fetch Clay, Make Man, a play about the friendship between boxer Muhammad Ali and actor Stepin Fetchit, at one of three preview shows at Ensemble Theatre. $23; limited discounted $12 tickets are available. 8pm.
- Aimee Mann in Concert at The Heights Theater – Rock out with singer-songwriter Aimee Mann at this intimate concert in The Heights Theater promoting her latest album, Mental Illness. Tickets start at $28. 8pm.
- Well at Studio 101 – Take your seat for this show that explores the ideas of health, illness, mind over body, and social activism, produced by Mildred’s Umbrella Theater Company at Studio 101. $25; limited discounted $12.50 tickets are available. 8pm.
- The Late Show: Bathtub Full of Gin at Prohibition Supperclub – You’re in for a sexy, booze-filled evening when the Moonlight Dolls take the stage for this 1920’s show at Prohibition Supperclub. Tickets start at $20, but limited, discounted $10 tickets are available. 11:30pm.
