- A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas at the Alley Theatre | Daily – See the Alley Theatre’s rendition of Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, playing through December 30 at Hubbard Theatre. Tickets start at $26. Thursday and Friday 7:30pm; Saturday and Sunday 2:30pm and 7:30pm.
- Hansel & Gretel at the Rec Room | Thursday to Saturday – Housed in a 600-square-foot wooded installation, Rec Room Arts creates an intimate, up-close-and-personal take on the opera Hansel and Gretel. Performances are limited to 40 audience members. Tickets start at $15. Thursday and Friday 7:30pm; Saturday 2pm and 7:30pm.
