  • Fourth of July Parade in Bellaire | FREE Join the Bellaire community in celebrating the fourth with a parade down Bellaire Boulevard and South Rice Avenue. The festivities continue with live entertainment, a mini Ferris wheel, petting zoo, dunk tank and more. 9:30am to 1pm.
  • Kidpendence Day at Children’s Museum of Houston  Kids won’t want to miss this epic Independence Day celebration at the Children’s Museum of Houston. Make magnifying glasses and spy disguises, create an I Spy nature journal, and watch the High Steppers Brass Band march through Kidtropolis. Entrance is included with museum admission. 10am to 6pm.
  • 4th of July Celebration at Bayou Bend | FREE Celebrate America with a reading of the Declaration of Independence, a slice of birthday cake, crafts, activities, performances, and by signing the giant Declaration of Independence. Noon to 5pm.
  • Memorial City Fourth of July Hot Air BalloonFest – Soar to new heights this Independence Day at the first ever Memorial City Fourth of July Hot Air BalloonFest. Witness a 25-foot hot air balloon rise above west Houston in this unique celebration and enjoy live music, food trucks, arts and crafts, and games. Balloon rides will cost $10 for adults and $5 for children under the age of 12. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Freedom Over Texas at Eleanor Tinsley Park Celebrate the 4th with Houston’s annual Freedom Over Texas celebration featuring a concert from The Suffers and Darius Rucker, a kids zone, beer garden, and a spectacular fireworks finale. Tickets start at $8. 4pm to 10pm.
  • Fourth Fest in Pasadena | FREE Spend the day at the Pasadena Convention Center enjoying live music, a car show, kids zone, water balloon war, prizes, a BBQ cook off, vendors, and fireworks. 4pm to 10pm.
  • 4th of July Celebration in Missouri City | FREE Bring the family out to Missouri City for moonwalks, face painting, a rock wall, food trucks and local vendors, then pile into the Thurgood Marshall High School stadium to watch the fireworks show. 6pm to 9pm.
  • Red, Hot, & Blue Festival in The Woodlands | FREE The Woodlands is celebrating the fourth with their 19th annual Red, Hot, & Blue festival featuring food, live entertainment on multiple stages, vendor booths, kids activities and firework show at Town Green Park. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Galveston Independence Day Parade and Fireworks | FREE Line the streets in Galveston and watch as floats, vehicles, and performers make their way down Seawall Boulevard during the 177th annual Independence Day Parade. End the night with a 20-minute fireworks show over the Gulf. 7:30pm.
  • Star-Spangled Salute at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE Bring a blanket and lay out on the lawn of Miller Outdoor Theatre as you enjoy a concert of patriotic music from the Houston Symphony in celebration of Independence Day. Songs include “The Star-Spangled Banner”, “Deep in the Heart of Texas” and “1812 Overture”. 8:30pm.
  • Fourth of July Celebration at Kemah Boardwalk | FREE Enjoy live tunes and fireworks over the water as you watch from the boardwalk in Kemah. 9:30pm.
