- Little Women, the Musical at A.D. Players | Thursday to Sunday – Follow Louisa May Alcott’s story of Jo, Amy, Beth and Meg March as they grow up during the Civil War during this musical adaptation from A.D. Players. $40; limited discounted $20 tickets available. Thursday 7pm; Friday and Saturday 8pm; Sunday 2:30pm.
- Raiders of the Lost Ark Concert at Jones Hall | Friday and Saturday – Enjoy live music from the Raiders of the Lost Ark film – as performed by the Houston Symphony – as the film plays on a big screen during this concert. Tickets start at $22, not including ticket fees. 7:30pm both nights.
- July 4 Fireworks Spectacular at CityCentre | Friday to Monday | FREE – Bring the whole family out to CityCentre for a full weekend of live music and a grand fireworks display. Bands include Soul Infinity, Cypress Republic Band, Sunday Night Live, and People’s Choice Band. Friday to Sunday 7pm to 10pm; Monday 7pm to 11pm.
- Houston Astros vs. White Sox and Mariners at Minute Maid Park | Friday to Monday – Get loud for the Astros when they take the field to play the White Sox in a series and then challenge the Mariners to an Independence Day game at Minute Maid Park. Tickets start at $15, but you may find cheaper or better seats on TicketNetwork’s resale site. Friday 7:10pm; Saturday 3:10pm; Sunday and Monday 1:10pm.
- 2 Day July 4th Celebration in Baytown | Sunday and Monday | FREE – Enjoy two evenings of live music and a full day of festivities on Monday, kicking off with a 5-mile run and continuing with games, food, arts and crafts and more. The event concludes with a performance from headliner Josh Abbott Band followed by a fireworks show. 6pm to 9:30pm Sunday; 7am to 10pm Monday.
