- Cooley Irish Whiskey Tasting at Reserve 101 | Tuesday, March 31 – Located downtown, Reserve 101 has the most extensive selection of whiskeys in the city. - Menu of Menus Extravaganza at Silver Street Station | Tuesday, March 31 – The 13th Annual Menu of Menus showcases food and drink from around the city. Guests will enjoy cocktails, food samples and live music during this event at Silver Street Station. You won’t want to miss the Iron Fork Chef Competition where two chefs go head-to-head to compete for votes from the judges. $40 to $60; $80 to $100 VIP. 7pm to 10pm.
- Oskar Blues Beer Dinner at Alamo Drafthouse Vintage Park | Wednesday, April 1 – Alamo Drafthouse is teaming up with Oskar Blues Brewery for dinner and a movie and beer. Guests will watch a screening of the Wes Anderson film Rushmore and enjoy a three course meal paired with beers from Oskar Blues. Dishes include carrot ginger soup, seared salmon and roasted cherry napoleon. $45. 7:30pm.
- Legally Blonde at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE | Thursday, April 2 to Saturday, April 4 – See the hit Broadway musical based on the 2001 comedy under the stars for free!. 8pm.
- 3rd Annual Dog Walk with the Houston Rockets | Saturday, April 4 – Join the Houston Rockets with your four-legged friend for a one-mile walk through Hermann Park. Stick around afterwards for a post-walk party with prizes and vendors offering all sorts of goodies. Please note that this event was originally schedule for March 1, but was rescheduled to April 4 due to weather. $35 registration includes a ticket to an upcoming Rockets game, doggie bandana and a t-shirt. 8am.
- Houston Energy Fest in the Energy Corridor | FREE | Saturday, April 4 – Head to the Energy Corridor to enjoy live music, shop merchandise from local vendors, learn about alternative commutes and public transit, and snack on concessions from area restaurants.
