- Comedian Michael Yo at Houston Improv | Thursday to Saturday – Welcome home native Houstonian and Emmy-nominated comedian Michael Yo, when he takes the stage at Houston Improv to raise his observations as the “Half-Black brother with a Korean mother”. Yo will perform five shows, including a family-friendly, ages 14 and up show on Thursday, April 1. $40 to $180 for a table of 2 to 6 people. Showtimes vary.

- Astrodome Conservancy presents Race for the Dome: Virtual Edition with Limited Onsite Race Option | Starts Friday | Virtual – Race for a brighter future for the Astrodome during an in-person and virtual race to benefit the Astrodome Conservancy where runners, walkers and strollers are encouraged to race eight laps (approximately 5k) for the eighth Wonder of the World, at their own route and pace through Sunday, April 11, 2021. The first 500 race registrants will receive free limited-edition Astrodome swag; the first 200 registrants will have special access to complete onsite laps around the Astrodome at NRG Park. Registration starts at $30, which includes a finisher medal; $60 also includes bib and an official shirt.
- Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Blessington Farms | Friday & Saturday – Hop over to Blessington Farms for an egg-cellent celebration of Easter, including hayrides, barrel trains, slides, animal encounters and an adventurous Easter egg hunt. $20 per person; free for ages 2 and under for Farm Funland; $3 to participate in the egg hunt. 9am to 4pm.
- EggTivities at The Woodlands Children’s Museum | Friday & Saturday – Bring the camera and snap a picture with the Easter Bunny across two days of Easter-themed arts and crafts at the Woodlands Children’s Museum. Kiddos will enjoy creating a bunny mask, egg dyeing and crafting egg carton baskets or bunny boxes to carry eggs. General admission to the museum is $6. 10am to 2pm.
- Easter Farm Days at P-6 Farms | Friday & Saturday – Make a stop in Montgomery for a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt and activities like vintage amusement rides, fun farm attractions, duck races, games and more during an Easter weekend of excitement. $15.95 for ages 3 and up. 11am to 5pm.
- Easter Experience at The Bridge in Richmond & Sugar Land | Saturday & Sunday | FREE – Experience Easter during two services that feature fun for the whole family including Easter egg giveaways, bounce houses, ice cream treats, obstacle courses, a rocking band, coffee and more, when The Bridge In Sugar Land and in Regal Theater hosts their series of Easter services on Saturday April 3 and on Easter Sunday, April 4, 2021. - Consequential Journeys Exhibition at Archway Gallery | Saturday & Sunday – Catch the opening of Archway’s April 2021 exhibition, Consequential Journeys, featuring new works by Becky Soria that explore the human figure less from its familiar shapes and much more from within, in an effort to bring to life the stark perceptions of the difficult times we are living in currently. The exhibition will be on display through Thursday, April 29, 2021. Times vary.
- Spring Breakout Aerial Adventures at Big Rivers Waterpark | Saturday & Sunday – Head to New Caney for an outdoor adventure featuring an inflatable obstacle course on the lake, climbing walls, zip lines, aerial activities, axe throwing, a petting zoo and more. $14.99 per person and most activities are available with this general admission pass. - John P. McGovern Playground at Discovery Green | Daily – Closed for more than year due to renovations, the fresh digs of the John P. McGovern Playground are finally open to the public at Discovery Green in Downtown. Enjoy two new expanded areas for toddlers and older kids, ample seating, and extended shady areas. - 5 Must Do Things Around Sam Houston National Forest | Daily – Camp, hike, fish, watch wildlife and more while exploring a massive, 160,000-acre woodland that stretches across three counties just north of Houston.
- AIDS Walk Houston 2021: Virtual Edition | Daily | Virtual – Walk, run, dance, swim, or even cook to help raise funds for ending the HIV epidemic when AIDS Foundation Houston presents a virtual edition of its 32nd annual Walk to End HIV, where Houstonians can participate at their convenience any time through Thursday, April 1, 2021. Prizes will be awarded to individuals for every $50, $125, $500 and $1000 they raise, as well as to the top three fundraising teams in each category. - Sugar Land Movie Night Drive-In: Grease at Crown Festival Park – The online votes for Sugar Land Movie Night Drive-In’s People’s Choice have been counted and this Friday’s family-friendly screening will be the 1978 timeless singalong, Grease, starring John Travolta and Olivia Newton John. Concessions, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for sale. Restrooms and hand sanitation stations will be available on-site. $20 per car.
