Fresh on the heels of the new cast announcement for the first ever sequel to the original Star Wars trilogy, Star Wars Day is upon us in Houston. With options across the city for fans big and small.
- 4th Annual Star Wars Art Festival at Summer Street Studios | Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 – War’Hous Visual Studios and Dandee Warhol celebrate the Galaxy Far, Far Away with an art exhibition showcasing hundreds of pieces of original Star Wars art. Families are welcome and costumes encouraged. $5.25. Noon to 6pm.
- Star Wars Day at Space Center Houston | Sunday, May 3 – Participate in a Padawan Boot Camp with Obi-Shawn, take your photo with stormtroopers and other characters from the 501st Legion, see a real hovercraft, build lightsabers and more. Included with admission. 10am to 3pm.
- Star Wars Day at the Galleria Disney Store | Monday, May 4 | FREE – The first 100 visitors of the day will receive free Star Wars gift and young aspiring Jedi will receive instruction in the ways of the Force at 12:30pm.
- Dig deep into the Force with Star Wars: The Clone Wars TV Series on Netflix | Daily – If you’re the type that would rather pay homage in the comfort of your own home, Netflix now has about 44 hours of original Star Wars content available on demand.
