Rising stars of the college and high school basketball world will stake their claim at the three-day Houston Hoops House Championships, taking place at Bayou Music Center in the run-up to the NCAA Men’s Final Four tournament arriving over the weekend. The annual, nationally-televised events are well known for back-to-back nights of Slam Dunk and 3-Point Championships.
High-flying and sharpshooting talents of college teams from around the nation highlight Thursday’s State Farm College Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships (airing live on ESPN2), while Friday offers promising high school ballers the chance to introduce themselves to the world in the Rocket Mortgage High School Slam Dunk & 3-Point Championships, which has previously featured talented athletes like Rockets stars Jabari Smith, Jr. and Kevin Porter, Jr.
New for this year’s competitions, Houston Hoops House will tip off with Wednesday’s State Farm College Team Skills & 3x3U Championships, featuring graduating college seniors in shootouts, skills relays, and a 3-on-3 half-court showdown.
