Celebrate the life and work of the late Robin Williams at NMFH on Saturday, August 8, 2015.

In honor of the one-year anniversary of Robin Williams’ passing, the National Museum of Funeral History will pay tribute with a day dedicated to the actor and comedian.

View photos from Williams’ life and career on display throughout the museum, and play trivia to test your knowledge about the actor and the characters he’s played.

A Robin Williams impersonator will be on hand to portray some of the many characters played by famous actor, spark some laughs and pose for photos with museum visitors.

The boots that Robin Williams wore in the movie RV will be unveiled as a permanent addition to the museum’s Thanks for the Memories exhibit. This exhibit provides a look into the farewells of iconic figures like Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor and more.

A screening of RV will play in the NMFH auditorium following the unveiling of the boots, and guests will have the opportunity to show their sympathy and support for Williams’ loved ones by signing the memorial guest book, which will be sent to his family following the event.
