Join River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO) for Unchambered: Fantasy, Love and Sex(tet), featuring cellist Richard Belcher and violinist Cecilia Belcher, at The MATCH on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at 5pm.
The first performance of the season in ROCO’s Unchambered series, this cheekily-named program will be comprised of Robert Schumann’s Fantasy Pieces Op. 73 for Cello and Piano, Erwin Schulhoff’s Duo for Violin and Cello, and Ernő Dohnányi’s Sextet.
Earning its name, the program is literally comprised of fantasy, love, and sextet – in that order.
Featured performers, and husband-and-wife duo, Richard and Cecilia Belcher will be showcasing how their musical talents perfectly complement and play off each other as they perform the program’s middle selection by Schulhoff.
Additional performing artists in the sextet are Melissa Marse on piano, Suzanne LeFevre on viola, Maiko Sasaki on clarinet, and Gavin Reed on horn.

About River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO)
The River Oaks Chamber Orchestra (ROCO) is a forty-piece professional chamber orchestra that was founded in 2005 by Alecia Lawyer. A Juilliard-trained musician with an eclectic background as a performer, recording artist, adjunct professor and radio host, Ms. Lawyer had a vision to reimagine the orchestral experience for both audience and musicians.
The result is ROCO: an orchestra of all-star musicians, distinguished conductors and contemporary composers who come together from all over the world to present unexpected classics, original compositions, and delightful performances that dissolve the barriers between audience and orchestra.
