Raise a glass to National Margarita Day!

If you haven’t heard already, today is officially National Margarita Day. And boy, are we in the right city to celebrate that! Here’s a hit list of some of our favorites.

  • Lupe Tortilla – With outlets all over town, this Houston restaurant is the go-to Tex-Mex neighborhood favorite across the city.
  • Chuy’s – Seven restaurants across the city are always packed, serving up lime and strawberry ‘ritas. Try the swirl.
  • Niko Niko’s – You may not expect to find a satisfying ‘rita at a Greek restaurant, but this Houston institution is no run-of-the-mill Greek joint. You can always pair your too delicious to explain gyros with perfectly sweet, frozen margs.
  • Pico’s Mex Mex – Texas Monthly calls them the “the best Mexican restaurant in Texas.” Their margaritas are no slouch either.
  • El Gran Malo – Known for its infused tequilas and lively patio, El Gran Malo’s ‘ritas are ideal for those who turn their noses up at the standard frozen fare.
  • Spanish Village Restaurant – Delicious margaritas and Tex-Mex served up old school over on Alemeda.
  • Ninfa’s Original on Navigation – The Ninfa’s that began it all offers rich, frozen and on the rocks ‘ritas that accompany their specialized Mexican menu.
