Master the art of kawaii with this Pop Shop Houston workshop

Learn to make kawaii style Japanese accessories in a Pop Shop Houston hosted event at TX/RX Labs on Friday, January 8, 2016.

Choose between making necklaces, key chains, earrings, bracelets, and more with the usual bright colors and happy shapes that have become synonymous with kawaii.

Cocktails and light bites will be provided by Greenhouse Catering Company for this family and beginner-friendly workshop that will have attendees creating accessories in the likeness of hearts, happy faces, and plenty of cake slices.

Held in conjunction with TX/RX’s weekly open house, participants can feel free to tour the building, say hi and learn more about the facilities happenings.

TX/RX is a makerspace that allows membership access to 3d printers, a rapid prototyping lab, woodshop, machineshop, electronics lab and more. Pop Shop Workshops take place every first Friday of the month in the TX/RX Labs Art Building.
