Celebrate the freshest addition to the famed Tex-Mex family with free Happy Hour food, tequila tastings, and charity dinners during the week-long grand opening celebration at Ninfa’s Uptown Houston from Monday, November 11 through Friday, November 15, 2019.
Since 1973, the Original Ninfa’s on Navigation in East Downtown has kept Houstonians well-fed on their famed Tex-Mex fare. Recently nominated for a James Beard Award and named one of Houston’s Top 100 Restaurants by Alison Cook, The Original Ninfa’s looks ready to grow and feed more hungry Houstonians.
At long last, a second location has opened at BLVD Place in Uptown Houston, and to celebrate, Ninfa’s Uptown Houston will feature a week of Grand Opening festivities including complimentary Happy Hour food, tequila tastings, and charity dinners throughout the week.

Grand Opening Week at Ninfa’s Uptown Houston
Monday through Friday from 3pm to 6pm, guests at Ninfa’s Uptown Houston can enjoy complimentary Happy Hour appetizers, including Executive Chef Alex Padilla’s Fajita Burger Sliders, Oyster Shooters, Margarita Chicken Wings, and assorted Street Tacos.
Throughout the week, Beverage Consultant Linda Salinas will demo complimentary tequila tastings on Monday, November 11 (Tequila Ocho); Wednesday, November 13 (Casa San Matias); and Friday, November 15 (El Tesoro Tequila).
Finally, Ninfa’s Uptown Houston will donate dinner profits from 5pm to 10pm on Tuesday, November 12 and Thursday, November 14 to charity organizations operating in Houston. The Wade Smith Foundation, helmed by the former Houston Texans Pro Bowler, will receive benefits during Tuesday’s dinner, while the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will benefit on Thursday.
Ahead of Tuesday’s charity dinner benefiting the Wade Smith Foundation, SportsRadio 610 will also be live broadcasting at Ninfa’s Uptown Houston from 2pm to 6pm.
