- Dancin’ in the Street… Motown & More Revue at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Friday to Sunday | FREE – Get down to Motown hits during this four night concert event featuring a Stevie Wonder tribute and soul music classics. 8:15pm nightly.
- Memorial Day in The Woodlands | Saturday and Sunday | FREE to Attend – Soak up the outdoors with live music, concessions, children’s activities and a fireworks show during The Woodlands’ annual Memorial Day celebration. 6pm to 9pm both nights.

- Houston Dash vs. Washington Spirit at BBVA Compass Stadium, plus Alvin & The Chipmunks Movie Screening – Cheer on the Dash as they play Washington in a home game at BBVA Compass Stadium. Stick around after the game for a screening of Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip as part of Movie on the Pitch. The first 250 people to claim wristbands at the game can watch the movie from the field. Tickets start at $15. 7:30pm.
- Dancing Under the Stars in Sugar Land | FREE – Get your groove on under the stars during this free event led by instructors from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio. 7:30pm to 9pm.
- Houston Grand Opera presents Tosca at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion | FREE – Follow the story of a glamorous opera singer during Houston Grand Opera’s performance of Tosca at Miller Outdoor Theatre. This show is for mature audiences. Select seating is free. 8pm.

- Memorial Day Weekend Rooftop Party at Proof in Midtown | FREE with RSVP – Party inside or out at Proof Rooftop Lounge where DJs SNS and Kid Capri will be spinning all day. Free with RSVP. 2pm to 8pm.
- Memorial Weekend Block Party at Fox Hollow | FREE with RSVP – Play giant Jenga, cool off with alcoholic snow cones, partake in the flip cup tournament, enjoy complimentary cotton candy and popcorn, chow down on crawfish, bbq and turkey legs and more during this block party hosted by Fox Hollow. Limited free tickets with RSVP available. 2pm to 8pm.
- Rooftop Crawfish & Carnival Festival at Social Junkie | FREE with RSVP – Celebrate Memorial Day weekend with a crawfish boil, live DJs and drink specials at the Washington Ave sports bar. Free with RSVP, VIP packages available. 2pm to 10pm.

- Memorial Day Blowout at White Oak Music Hall | Sunday, May 29 – WOMH is hosting an epic Memorial Day weekend show headlined by The Flaming Lips and featuring 9 other national and regional bands. Tickets start at $35 not including ticket fees. 1pm.
- Bands on the Bayou at Brenner’s: The Space Rockers in Concert | FREE to Attend – Enjoy drink specials and lite bites while listening to live music from The Space Rockers during this event at Brenner’s on the Bayou. 3pm to 6pm.

- World War II Memorial in the Heights | FREE – Pay your respects to Heights area soldiers who served in World War II at this patriotic memorial at Heights Boulevard and East 11th Street. All day.
- Memorial Day Ceremony at Houston National Cemetery | FREE – Honor those who have served our country during this ceremony at the Houston National Cemetery. 9:30am.
- Freedom Flow Yoga Class in Sugar Land | FREE – Bring your own mat and join Revolution Studio for a free yoga class at the Town Square Plaza. 9:30am to 11am.
- 8th Annual City of Sugar Land Memorial Day Ceremony | FREE – Show your patriotism at Sugar Land Memorial Park where the program includes a raising of the flag, Memorial Day tribute, patriotic music, exhibits and more. 10am.
- Memorial Day Lunch at Saint Arnold – Enjoy a lunch buffet complete with brats, chopped brisket, watermelon and apple cobbler along wit unlimited beer at Saint Arnold. Tickets are $20. 11am to 2pm
