Dress up for Music of the Mad Men Era

Enjoy swinging tunes of the 50s and 60s as the Houston Symphony Pops presents Music of the Mad Men Era at Jones Hall from Friday, February 21 through Sunday, February 23, 2014. 

This weekend the Houston Symphony Pops journeys back to the Golden Age of Advertising – and martini lunches – as Conductor Steven Reineke leads a program that celebrating catchy and seductive music that you’d hear in hip Las Vegas lounges of the 50s and 60s.

Joining the Houston Symphony will be vocalists Ryan Silverman and Nikki Renee Daniels, who’ll add some punch to tunes such as “It’s Not Unusual,” “Bésame Mucho,” “Don’t Get Around Much Anymore” and “The Best is Yet to Come.”
