- Dexter’s Laughatory: Stand Up Comedy Showcase at The Secret Group – Dexter Gutierrez hosts another edition of this weekly comedy show in EaDo, which features performances from local comics and fun experiments. $5. 8pm.

Brown Convention Center – Join the Rockets for their in-person party on NBA Draft night as they look to make decisions around the Number 3 pick. Broadcasters from Space City Home Network will be in attendance, along with Clutch the Bear, dancers, and more. Take to full-sized basketball courts, and enjoy family-friendly fun like balloon artists, face painters, inflatables and more. - An Evening with James Van Der Beek & Screening of Varsity Blues at House of Blues – The Dawson’s Creek heartthrob comes to Houston for a night of conversation and a screening of the coming-of-age sports film, Varsity Blues. $45 and up. 6pm.

- Neon Foam Party at Post Houston – The downtown venue’s Skylawn is the setting for this epic summer jam, with family-friendly music, neon lights and foam machines. Grab a bite and drink from one of Post’s vendors, then head upstairs to dance the night away under the Houston skyline. $5. 7pm to 10pm.
- Concert Under the Stars: Selena Tribute at Marriott Marquis Houston – The hotel’s rooftop pool deck is the place for this evening of music from Cristina Amaro & the CTS Band. - Comedian Corrine Fisher at the Secret Group – The stand-up comedian, writer, director and actor made a splash in the comedy scene with her debut one-woman show Corinne Fisher: I Stalk You in 2010, and has been a force ever since. - The Beyhive at Noto Houston – The East End nightclub spins an evening of hits by H-Town’s own, Beyoncé. You’ll enjoy her legendary tunes in an elegant, upscale setting, complete with superior service and a 21-and-up vibe. $60 and up. 10pm.

- Rainbow on the Green at Discovery Green | FREE – Show your pride and that love is love at this annual family-friendly celebration. The downtown park hosts an evening of performances by Z’maji Glamouratti & the Lone Star Discoteq, DJ Hiram, drag queens and more. 7pm to 10pm.

- Million Dollar Red in Concert at Continental Club – Head to Midtown to catch this band that brings modern grit to Texas blues, rock and psychedelic music. The Beaumont Enterprise called their shows “heavy, soulful and exciting.” $10 and up. 9pm.
- Lady Faith DJ Set at Stereo Live – A top hardstyle DJ and producer comes to Houston for a live set. Las Vegas Weekly hailed her for “[crushing] expectations and sound barriers with her enormous sound.” $19.99. 10pm.

- 46th Houston Pride Celebration Festival & Parade at Houston City Hall – This all-day festival features live performances by K. Michelle, David Archuleta, Kayla G and Brooke Eden. The evening parade runs through the streets of downtown and is free to view. Festival passes are $5. 11am to 10pm.
- Craft & Connect Workshop: Cocktail Masterclass at TX/RX Labs – Get some insider tips, tools, and basic techniques on how to craft cocktails at home. After you’ve enjoyed some boozy fun, TX/RX Labs will guide you through making your own coaster using a laser cutter. $25. 1pm.
- Sunset & Sounds: Summer Concert Series with Robert Kuhn at Hotel Lucine | No Cover – The Galveston singer-songwriter headlines a night at the Island’s new boutique hotel, performing on the rooftop bar overlooking the beach. 6pm to 9pm.
- Southern Smoke Foundation presents Respect the Rosé: Run for the Rosés at Brennan’s of Houston – Chefs will collaborate on a multi-course extravaganza made even better by a selection of first-class rosés and other wines at Brennan’s of Houston. - Hollywood Rhapsody at Miller Outdoor Theatre | FREE – The Texas Medical Center Orchestra kicks off its 25th season with this performance, featuring classical movie tunes, including Gershwin’s Overture to Girl Crazy, An American in Paris, and Rhapsody in Blue. - Glitterball: Official Houston Pride Afterparty at Warehouse Live Midtown – The official afterparty to the Houston Pride Parade brings revelers to Midtown for a rooftop bash with DJs Kitty Glitter and Drew G. $20 and up. 9pm to 11pm.
- Electric Foam: Hawaiian Nights at Stereo Live – Break out your Hawaiian shirts and leis for this aloha-themed party at the Galleria-area club. You’ll dance the night away, and the first 300 people through the doors get light-up LED leis. $10. 10pm.

- Sad Girl Sunday Concert at Dan Electro’s – Look for performances from Kay Weathers, Sorry Sarah, and Hate Mail in this afternoon of female power. Expect a variety of genres, including elecro pop, indie rock, screamo and post-hardcore. $10. 2pm to 6pm.
- The Doobie Brothers in Concert at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion – The 1970s rock band, known for hits like “Listen to the Music,” “What a Fool Believes” and “Takin’ It to the Streets” make a stop in The Woodlands, with the Robert Cray Band as an opening act. $35 and up. 7pm.
- José Madero in Concert at House of Blues – The Mexican rock singer-songwriter, known for songs like “Día de Mayo,” “Lamentable” and “De mí, de mí, de mí” comes to Houston as part of his En Directo tour. His sound blends rock, pop, and folk influences. $55 and up. 7pm.
