Embrace all things performing arts at a completely free day of family entertainment and activities at The Grand Kids Festival in Downtown Galveston on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Hosted in the Cultural Arts District of Downtown Galveston and created by the good folks at the Grand 1894 Opera House, the free Grand Kids Festival features a full day of fine arts for kids, along with hands-on projects, dance performances, shows, inflatables, a petting zoo, pony rides, and more.

A local, musical adaptation of The Frog Prince will be performed on the The Grand’s stage twice by local children at 11am and 1pm.

This year, fairytale costume contest will debut, featuring a costume parade though the event at 3:30pm, followed by prizes for the best kids costume and best family/group costume.

And throughout the day, the Food Fair will be offering up fun, healthy, tasty food and drink for kids and their families.
