Relive the iconic, 1990 Oscar-winning film with the touring Broadway show Ghost The Musical at the Hobby Center from Tuesday, February 18 to Sunday, February 23, 2014.
You may or may not know the iconic 1990 film Ghost, which starred Houston-born Patrick Swayze along with Demi Moore. But regardless of your familiarity with that heart-grabbing and Oscar-winning story, Ghost The Musical delivers a visual and emotionally stirring experience that is unique upon the stage.
Your eyes and mind will marvel as inanimate objects come to life, a man walks through a solid door before your eyes, and other striking, first class visual effects boggle your eyes and mind.
The show boasts an original pop score from multiple Grammy Award-winners Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics and Glen Ballard, who co-write with Alanis Morissette on the multi-platinum album Jagged Little Pill.
If you are unfamiliar with the story, Ghost The Musical follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam’s sudden and untimely death. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly after he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.
Ghost The Musical is “eye-poppingly brilliant with glorious songs” according to the Associated Press and is “one of the most adventurous and modern musicals ever seen,” according to WOR Radio.
