Come together to celebrate transformation through music, dance, firespinning and more at EarthDance Houston 2014 at ISKCON of Houston on Saturday, September 20, 2014 from 5pm to 9pm.

Held in conjunction with the United Nations’ annual International Day for Peace, EarthDance Houston is the local headquarters for this global celebration of the planet, music, dance and unity.

About EarthDance Houston 2014

EarthDance is an open, family-friendly event designed to bring a little more serenity to a constantly chaotic world through uplifting song and dance. The highlight of the event will be the Global Peace Prayer, a musical prayer for peace that happens exactly at the same universal time at 34 other EarthDance events spanning the globe.

During the peace prayer, which happens at 6pm in Houston, these similar celebrations across North America, South America, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Australia will chime in unison.

In addition to the event’s signature live music, drumming and spirited dancing, visitors may also catch “The Power of Noticing,” a presentation from Houston’s own transformation teacher Tina Maria St. Cyr. Ayana Mack of 97.9 The Box and Majic 102.1 will emcee the event. Dinner is included.

For 2014, EarthDance Houston is being held at Gauranga Hall in the brand new Hare Krishna Temple and Cultural Center in Garden Oaks, just north of the Loop.

EarthDance Houston is hosted by ISKCON of Houston, Ecstatic Dance Houston and EarthDance Global. Attendees of all faiths and creeds are welcome and encouraged come-as-they-are or in traditional spiritual garb.
