Sam Houston Race Park presents Texas Champions Day, where the best thoroughbred horses in Texas compete in seven-stakes races and for more than $575,000 in purse money.

Everyone is welcome to sign up for the 2nd annual Astronaut Run, where the general public and dress uo like an astronaut and run.

Gates open at 11:30am. Race at 1pm.

Admission

General admission is $5. Finish line box seating starts at $15 for 3 people. The Winner’s Circle Restaurant Experience chophouse-style buffet is $34.99 and includes admission. Order tickets or learn more.
