Reedy Chapel AME Church celebrates the holiday with a free Juneteenth Family Fun Day in Galveston.

See the history with guided tours of Reedy Chapel AME, “a national historic landmark,” activities for the kids to enjoy, and an emancipation march to end the day.

Other activities include bounce houses, face painting, a live DJ, vendors, and more.
