Embers of Freedom & The Art of Poetry at Houston Museum of African American Culture

FreeHMAAC celebrates Juneteenth with two performances (2pm and 4pm) of Embers of Freedom, an interactive play that blends song, dance and spoken word; plus an evening event that explores freedom’s journey through poetry, storytelling and music in The Art of Poetry, beginning at 7pm.
