Moody Gardens hosts the 3-day Galveston Island Wine Festival, featuring 3 signature wine dinner events and some of the region’s top culinary talents.

All events are included with hotel stay packages. Tickets to the signature dinners are also available without a hotel stay.

Galveston Island Wine Festival Signature Events 

• Seven on Seven Seafood Extravaganza | Friday, August 30 – Seven top-tier chefs, including Chef David Cordúa from Houston’s The Lymbar, will duel to create sensational dishes, paired with a wine from seven of the world’s finest regions. 6pm to 8pm.
• Penguins & Pinot: Grand Tasting | Saturday, August 31 – Explore the oceans of the world in Moody Gardens’ Aquarium Pyramid, while sampling vino from the world’s most bountiful vineyards and enjoy delicious small bite pairings. 6pm to 9pm.
• Bourbon Dinner | Sunday, September 1 – Cap off the weekend with an elegant seated Bourbon Dinner experience at Shearn’s Seafood and Prime Steaks on the ninth floor of the Moody Gardens Hotel. 5pm to 7pm.

In addition to the signature dinners, hotel guests can also enjoy Wine’d Down After Hours at Palm Beach with music and fireworks, a Regular Guy Wine Seminar, Billiards & Beer, Morning Restorative Yoga, and more.
