Delight at Bayou City Theatrics’ production of the off-Broadway classic The Fantasticks at The Kaleidoscope Theatre, showing now through Sunday, November 22, 2015.

When Matt and Luisa fall in love against the wishes of their feuding families, a modern-day Romeo and Juliet unfolds, with plenty of comedy, drama and music, along with a healthy dose of moonlight and magic.

Featuring the beloved songs “Try to Remember,” “They Were You” and “Soon It’s Gonna Rain,” the original production of this show ran for a record-setting 42 years in New York. New productions of the show continue to charm sold-out audiences around the world.

Bayou City Theatrics reimagines this classic, capturing all the nostalgia and whimsy by having the actors’ voices accompanied only by piano and harp.
