Founded by Elizabeth Harrison Cooper, Crave Cupcakes’ selection varies from day to day, with each day having a set menu, but there are a few standby flavors that are usually in stock. Sometimes a particular flavor will sell out for the day or before a new batch is complete. So it’s best to be flexible in your expectations or plan ahead and pre-order at least two dozen of your favorites. (If two dozen seems like a lot of cupcakes when you just want to secure one, then consider it the perfect way to turn satisfying your craving into scoring points with a generous gesture at the workplace).
Crave sources its ingredients from near and far, using items such as local dairy, European chocolates, Madagascan vanilla, and Napa Valley fruit. Regardless of the ingredients, and the flavors they concoct, Crave donates each day’s left over cupcakes to Prepared for Life.
