Enjoy a movie night screening of Slavic film Zelary at the Czech Center Museum Houston on Friday, May 13, 2016.

The film centers around a nurse and her surgeon-lover who, after taking part in a resistance movement during 1940’s Czechoslovakia, must flee while relying on the kindness of others.

In addition to the CCMH’s monthly film series the museum offers many free to the public presentations of non-biased, non-political and non-religious events for those interested in the culture.

Founded to celebrate, share and promote the rich cultural abundance of this major Slavic ethnic group’s history, The Czech Center Museum Houston has spent the past fourteen years with the goal to bring highly acclaimed programs to Houston.
