Transport yourself back in time to an age of opulence with Standing Room Only’s latest musical Speakeasy at Obsidian Theater on varying dates between Saturday, April 2 through Saturday, April 16, 2016.

The original musical written by a pair of Houstonians tells the story of Texas, the glamorous owner of an underground Chicago club in the 1920s. At her speakeasy, The Reading Room, you’ll meet the various regulars who all have stories to tell.

Featuring great songs by the likes of Cole Porter and George Gershwin and fabulous jazz-dance numbers, Speakeasy takes you back in time for a thoroughly immersive night of entertainment at the Obsidian Theater.
