- Houston Fringe Festival at MATCH | Tuesday, November 1 to Sunday, November 6 – Back after a two-year pandemic hiatus, this multi-day exploration of plays and performing arts offers world premieres of cutting-edge pieces by emerging and established artists. - The Riot Comedy Club presents Julia Shiplett at Rudyard’s British Pub | Friday, November 4 & Saturday, November 5 – On back-to-back nights, the nationally-touring comedian and writer takes the mic in Montrose, showing why she’s been named an up-and-coming comic to watch by Comedy Central and TBS. $17 and up. - 2022 World Series: Houston Astros vs. Philadelphia Phillies at Minute Maid Park | Saturday, November 5 & Sunday, November 6 – If necessary, the best-of-seven World Series will return to Houston for Game 6 and a winner-take-all Game 7 at Minute Maid. Tickets are sold out, but you may find better, cheaper or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm.
- Comedian Chris Rock at Smart Financial Centre | Saturday, November 5 & Sunday, November 6 – The legendary actor, comedian, and writer shares a double dose of his Ego Death World Tour with Sugar Land, performing across two days. $49.50 and up. 8pm.
