  • Haunted House of Burlesque at Henke & Pillot – In Downtown, a slate of burlesque performers that include Vera Valentina, Poppy Tart, Nikki Knockout and Lady Annabelle will offer a special Halloween night performance infused with special effects that will tickle your senses. $35 and up. Showtimes at 5:30pm, 8pm and 10:30pm.
  • Golden Dawn Arkestra in Concert at Last Concert Cafe – Take in a special Halloween experience when the Texas band brings their unique set to the longtime North Downtown haunt, supported by Howard & the Nosebleeds and Ak’chamel. $24 and up. 7pm.
  • Halloween at Numbers Nightclub – The annual tradition continues with Halloween night dancing and surprises, plus more than $1,000 in cash and prizes for the costume contest, and more. $7 until 9pm; cover charge after. 8pm.
  • Common Ground: Halloween Bash & Fall Market at Social Beer Garden | No Cover – Common Ground presents its fall market along with some Halloween fun like a cash prize costume contest, classic open decks, special guests, and more at Social Beer Garden. 8pm.

  • Feel Good Market at the Ion | FREE – The innovation hub hosts this monthly, first-Thursday event featuring vendors selling jewelry, ceramics, treats and more, plus music and food from around the region. 5pm.
  • Carrie Underwood in Concert at Toyota Center – The pop country superstar and eight-time Grammy Award winner, is riding through the H bringing music from her latest album, Denim & Rhinestones. $59.50 and up. 6:30pm.
  • Lotería Night at East End Backyard – Head over to East End Backyard for Lotería Night benefitting the nonprofit, University of Houston Hispanic Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. There will also be a Day of the Dead costume contest, DJs, mariachis, and live performances. $35. 6:30pm.
  • College Night at Contemporary Arts Museum Houston | FREE – College students are invited to experience the museum with a host of hands-on activities, film screenings, dance and sewing workshops, and a performance by Wonderbox. 6:30pm to 8:30pm.
  • Author Margaret Wilkerson Sexton with Kiese Laymon at Kindred Stories | FREE – Author Margaret Wilkerson Sexton joins Kindred Stories in Third Ward to discuss her novel, On the Rooftop, a story of a mother who dreams of musical stardom for her three daughters, which collides with the daughters’ dreams for themselves. Free; books are available for purchase at the event. 7pm.
  • King Princess in Concert at House of Blues – The modern monarch, King Princess, is bringing their unique brand of soulful indie pop to the Bayou City with tunes from their second album, Hold On Baby. $30 and up. 7pm.
  • The Riot Comedy Club presents Dan St. Germain at Rudyard’s British Pub – Taking the evening slot for the night before Katherine Blanford, the writer, comedian and actor known for spots on This is Not Happening, Conan, Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and others hits the upstairs stage in Montrose. $15 and up. 7pm.
  • Houston Texans vs. Philadelphia Eagles at NRG Stadium – Get loud and rowdy for the Houston Texans as they host the Philly Eagles and ring their bell on a primetime slot for Thursday Night Football. $65 and up. 7:15pm.
  • Demi Lovato in Concert at 713 Music Hall – The popstar is getting back to their rock and roll roots as they mosey through H-Town on tour touting their eighth studio release, Holy Fvck. $50 and up. 8pm.
  • Itzy in Concert at Smart Financial Centre – The K-Pop five-piece was showered with awards when they arrived with their 2021 debut release, Crazy in Love. Now, they bring songs from a forthcoming EP, Checkmate, to Sugar Land in one of just eight United States stops on their global tour. $59.50 and up. 8pm.
  • Foals in Concert at White Oak Music Hall – The British indie rock heavyweights and newly minted trio, Foals, are taking the White Oak Music Hall stage in support of their seventh studio album on their Life Is Yours tour. $35.50 and up. 8pm.
  • Cobweb Cabaret at Warehouse Live – It’s about to be crazy, sexy and cool at the Cobweb Cabaret, presented by Vauxdevil, where more beautiful ladies than you could count will be putting on a show to remember. $35. 9pm.
  • Friday I’m in Love: The Numbers Documentary at MATCH As part of the Houston Fringe Festival, you can catch this doc about the legendary alternative music venue and iconic Montrose landmark. $15. 9pm.

  • Houston Classic at Houston Polo Club Experience the St. Regis Houston Classic on a beautiful fall afternoon full of live music, ponies, expert commentary, and a divot stomp at halftime accompanied by flowing champagne. Individual courtyard tickets are $35; $15.50 for ages 12 and under. Boxes for 2 to 20 guests range from $89 to $895. 2pm.
  • French, Peruvian & Ecuadorian Wine Dinner at Maison Pucha Bistro The Heights bistro has invited guest chef Antonio Rossell to join chef Manuel Pucha and pastry chef Victor Hugo Pucha in a special five-course wine dinner. $149 per person. 5pm.
  • Cultivators’ Cocktails at the Treehouse at The Grove – Urban Harvest’s Cultivators are invited to a special, extended cocktail hour at the Treehouse at The Grove at Discovery Green, featuring Dumpling Haus, Karuna’s Kitchen, Papalo Mercado, and Sallyz Kitchen from the Saturday Farmers Market. There will also be special cocktails, raffle prizes, and more.   • Urban Harvest Sunday Supper at The Grove – Held in conjunction with the Cultivators’ Cocktails on the upper floor of The Grove, this annual fundraiser from Urban Harvest celebrates local food and culinary excellence with a multi-course, family-style meal, featuring five esteemed Houston chefs—Ryan Williams of The Grove, Justin Basye of Goode Co, Alyssa Dole of LuLoo’s Day & Night, Tony Luhrman of El Topo, and Chase Voelz of Bludorn. $325. 5:15pm to 10:15pm.
  • Axiom Quartet in Concert at Holocaust Museum Houston | FREE – The chamber quartet, in partnership with the museum and the Polish consulate, presents a powerful concert of works by Polish and Polish-born composers. Registration required. 6pm.
  • Oxtail MashUp at Project Row Houses – Founded in 2017, Oxtail MashUp brings together some of the industry’s most sought-after chefs and bartenders for a stellar ‘mashup’ of food, drink, art, music and a spirited battle in the lush gardens of Project Row Houses.
