  • Houston Texans 2022 Draft Party at Miller Outdoor Theatre | Thursday, April 28 | FREE – Head to Hermann Park for an official draft day party hosted by the Houston Texans. All afternoon and evening, attendees can enjoy a fan zone, giveaways, food and drink, player appearances, a live video call from Head Coach Lovie Smith, and broadcast coverage at 7pm when the draft gets rolling. 3pm to 9:30pm.
  • College Baseball: Rice Owls vs. Western Kentucky Hilltoppers at Reckling Park | Friday, April 29 to Sunday, May 1 – Space Day returns to Rice Owls baseball on Saturday, April 30 during the three-day series against WKU. Attendees can snag a lightsaber and registered kiddos can get a deep dive into the world of NASA and STEM at a pre-game conference, which begins at 9am and ends with a ticket to the afternoon game. $15 and up. Times vary.
  • PurpleStride Houston 2022 at Houston Sports Park | Saturday, April 30 – Take to the home of the Houston SaberCats and training facility of the Dash and Dynamo when PurpleStride returns to an in-person charity walk that raises funds for pancreatic cancer research. Registration is free and participants receive a t-shirt at the $50 level of fundraising. 7am.
  • Houston Dynamo FC vs. Austin FC at PNC Stadium | Saturday, April 30 – The second-year MLS squad from Central Texas makes another stop through Houston to face the Dynamo. $24 and up. 12:30pm.
  • Houston Dash vs. San Diego Wave at PNC Stadium | Sunday, May 1 – The Dash return to the pitch for their NWSL regular season home opener, taking on the league’s latest expansion franchise, San Diego Wave, which features US soccer legend Alex Morgan. $15 and up. 6pm.
