• Brent Morin at Houston Improv | Friday, September 3 to Sunday, September 5 – Previously seen on NBC’s Undateable, Merry Happy Whatever opposite Dennis Quaid, and in his Netflix comedy special, I’m Brent Morin, the LA-based comedian stops by the Improv for three nights of hilarious stand-up. Tickets are sold in groups and range from $40 for 2 to $180 for 6. Times vary.
• Dustin Nickerson & Zoltan Kaszas at Rudyard’s British Pub | Friday, September 3 – The Montrose mainstay for side-splitting comedy hosts back-to-back sets from Dustin Nickerson (Comedy Central, Netflix, and Overwhelmed, his special on Amazon) and Zoltan Kaszas (NBC, Laughs on Fox, SiriusXM) for an early and late show appearance. Tickets start at $17, with VIP and reserved table options available. 7:30pm and 10pm.
• Jill Kimmel at the Secret Group | Sunday, September 5 – The comedian and familiar face to many of the country’s fabled comedy rooms, Jill Kimmel arrives in EaDo for an evening of gut-busting gags. Tickets are $8. 8pm.
• Jay Pharoah at Houston Improv | Friday, September 10 & Saturday, September 11 – Actor and comedian Jay Pharaoh, known for six seasons of his stunning impressions on Saturday Night Live, heads to the Houston Improv for back-to-back nights of back-to-back sets. Tickets are sold in groups and range from $60 for 2 to $240 for 6. Times vary.
• Ronny Chieng at House of Blues | Saturday, September 11 – Appearing as Jon Jon in the newest Marvel blockbuster, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings, as well as a senior correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show, the award-winning Malaysian comedian stops by Downtown’s House of Blues for two sets of uproarious comedy. Tickets are $40, but you may find better, cheaper, or hard-to-get seats using the TicketNetwork online marketplace. 7pm and 9:30pm.
• Mo Amer at White Oak Music Hall | Tuesday, September 14 – Best known for his Netflix comedy special, Mo Amer: The Vagabond, this Palestinian American comedian who grew up in Houston returns to the stage, performing two sets that will be recorded for an upcoming release. Tickets are $25. 6pm and 9pm.
• Ali Siddiq at Houston Improv | Thursday, September 16 to Sunday, September 19 – A frequent guest to the Improv, Houston native Ali Siddiq can recently be seen performing on The D.L. Hughley Show, and as a Top 5 finalist on NBC’s comedy competition, Bring the Funny. He’ll take the mic for a series of sets across four days at the Improv. Tickets are sold in groups and range from $40 for 2 to $180 for 6. Times vary.
• Steve Hofstetter at the Secret Group | Thursday, September 23 – A stand-up comic from Queens, Steve Hofstetter has a number of television appearances, including The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson and VH1’s Countdown, and will take to the EaDo stage for a set of high hilarity. Tickets are $25. 7pm.
• Dave Attell at Houston Improv | Friday, September 24 & Saturday, September 25 – Known for his late-night work in Comedy Central’s Insomniac series in the 2000s, Dave Attell returns to Houston for back-to-back nights of his signature dry style of laugh-out-loud comedy. Tickets are sold in groups and range from $50 for 2 to $150 for 6. Times vary.
• Liz Miele at the Secret Group | Sunday, September 26 – With appearances on Comedy Central, Hulu, and NPR’s Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me, Liz Miele grabs the mic for a one-night headlining set of new material at the EaDo comedy club. Tickets are $20; $25 day of the show. 8pm.
