Belly up to August’s For The Love of Food Trucks Festival

Eat from some of your favorite Houston food trucks all at one location behind Galway Hooker Irish Pub on on Washington Ave on Saturday, August 22, 2015.

Food enthusiasts of all ages are welcome at the For the Love of Food Trucks Festival on Washington Ave.

Satisfy any craving you may have worked up on your Saturday morning with grub from a variety of food trucks spanning from Asian to American, French and fusion cuisine. Pay your entry fee (just $1 in advance or $5 at the door) and then take your pick of trucks and pay-as-you-go.

Enjoy drink specials and live music from Corey Stoot while you graze on a gooey grilled cheese from Golden Grill, a nutella crepe from Bonjour Creperie or an afternoon espresso from Mobile Mug. And hey, no judging if you want to try all of the food trucks.

Food Trucks participating in the festival include Bonjour Creperie, Burger Joint, Casian King, Coreanos, Creole Gold, El Capo Cuisine, Golden Grill, Happy Endings, Happy Hour, Koagie Hots, Mobile Mug, Muiishi Makirittos, Onolicious and Pho-Jitas.

The festival will take place in the parking lot behind Galway Hooker Irish Pub and Giulietta Sociale, at the corner of Roy and Center streets.
