- AIDS Walk Houston 2021: Virtual Edition | Daily | Virtual – Walk, run, dance, swim, or even cook to help raise funds for ending the HIV epidemic when AIDS Foundation Houston presents a virtual edition of its 32nd annual Walk to End HIV, where Houstonians can participate at their convenience any time through Thursday, April 1, 2021. Prizes will be awarded to individuals for every $50, $125, $500 and $1000 they raise, as well as to the top three fundraising teams in each category. Registration is required for the virtual experience. All day.
- Public Piano Play at Levy Park | Friday, March 26 | FREE – Show off your skills or sit and watch others as they tickle the ivories at Levy Park’s outdoor solar-powered piano, where all skill levels are invited to display their talents in Upper Kirby. Noon to 6pm.
- 14th Annual Fishing Derby at Creekwood Park in The Woodlands | Saturday, March 27 | FREE – Grab your fishing poles and head to Creekwood Park to reel in a fun morning where prizes are awarded for longest, heaviest and smallest fish caught. Bait is provided and t-shirts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 8am to 10am.
- Easter Egg-Stravaganza at Blessington Farms near Fulshear | Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 – Hop over to Blessington Farms for an egg-cellent celebration of Easter, including hayrides, barrel trains, slides, animal encounters and an adventurous Easter egg hunt. $20 per person; free for ages 2 and under for Farm Funland; $3 to participate in the egg hunt. 9am to 4pm.
- Heart to Market at Sugar Land Town Square | Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 | FREE – This kid-friendly pop-up market features a curated mix of local makers, small shops and specialty brands dedicated to moms and their children. Visitors can shop apparel, accessories, home decor, paper goods, sweets and much more. A special Friday session from 6pm to 8pm is available to VIP attendees; Saturday and Sunday is open to everyone from 10am to 4pm.
- Easter Farm Days at P-6 Farms in Montgomery | Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 – Make a stop in Montgomery for a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, an egg hunt and activities like vintage amusement rides, fun farm attractions, duck races, games and more during an Easter weekend of excitement. $15.95 for ages 3 and up. 11am to 5pm.
- Houston Music & Arts Festival at Independence Park in Pearland | Saturday, March 27 and Sunday, March 28 – Take in live music, fine art displays, a classic car and custom motorcycle show, and dozens of attractions. Tickets are $10 and good for both days; free for ages 12 and under. 11am to 9pm.

Social Distancing & COVID-19 Precautions
As we enter into the vaccination phase of the COVID-19 pandemic, medical experts still advise that we have a way to go before we achieve herd immunity and can safely resume pre-pandemic activities. In the meantime, you can remain vigilant in protecting yourself against the coronavirus by continuing to wear face masks when in public spaces, practice social distancing of at least six feet, limit your touching of surfaces, and frequently use hand sanitizer or soap and water to keep your hands clean.
While the Governor of Texas has lifted mandatory mask orders and capacity limits, most businesses are still requiring face masks to enter and enforcing reduced capacity. Familiarize with your destination’s policies ahead of time and please respect their public safety precautions.
