Say “Hello!” and lock in your seats for the return of the hilarious The Book of Mormon when it delights, pontificates, educates, amuses, and shocks (if it’s your first time) at the Hobby Center from Tuesday, January 15 through Sunday, January 20, 2019.
The crowd-pleasing show won nine Tony Awards, including “Best Musical,” in 2011 after it debuted on Broadway. It was created by the controversial but talented and beloved Trey Parker and Matt Stone, themselves four-time Emmy Award-winning creators of South Park, and Robert Lopez, a Tony Award-winner and co-creator of Avenue Q.
Jon Stewart of The Daily Show called the show was “a crowning achievement, so good it makes me angry” and Entertainment Weekly labeled it “the funniest musical of all time.” Meanwhile, Ben Brantley of The New York Times called it “the best musical of this century.”
It’s not intended for children and once you start laughing, you’ll be glad you left them at home.
