  • Kingwood Farmers Market at Town Center Park | FREE – Shop for fresh homegrown fruits, vegetables, jams, baked goods and more at the Farmers Market in Kingwood Town Center Park. 3pm.
  • Houston Sports Awards at Hilton AmericasCelebrate a historic year for Houston sports with dinner, drinks, and raffle prizes while watching our city’s most accomplished athletes, coaches, teams, and contributors accept their awards. Enter the Golden Ticket Raffle for a chance to win season tickets to your favorite Houston sport. $600. 4:30pm.
  • Tai Chi by the Reflecting Pool at the Rothko ChapelJoin instructor Henderson Smith for a  1-hour Tai Chi class, held on the Rothko Chapel grounds near the reflecting pool. Suggested donation of $15. 5pm to 6pm.
  • Brew for Vision at Saint Arnold Brewing Company – Join Prevent Blindness Texas for an evening of craft beer and appetizers at their 2nd Annual Brew for Vision at Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Proceeds from this event will help prevent blindness and preserve sight. Individual tickets start at $35. 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
  • Texas Monthly Whiskey Affair at Silver Street Studios Sip fine brown spirits via straight pours and couture cocktails at Texas Monthly’s Whiskey Affair. The event includes live music by Doc Watkins, chef pairings, and spirit seminars led by the magazine’s Editor in Chief, Tim Taliaferro, and Wine & Spirits contributor Jessica Dupuy. $95. 6pm to 10pm.
  • Musiqa in Concert at CAMH | FREE – In conjunction with the exhibition Christopher Knowles: In a Word, Musiqa presents a special concert inspired by his work and poetry at the Contemporary Arts Museum, Houston. 6:30pm.
  • Unlock’d at Queensbury Theatre Set in the 18th century, but accompanied by contemporary music, this musical follows the story of a woman who lives in the shadow of her beautiful step-sister. See the regional premiere at Queensbury Theatre. Tickets start at $22. 7:30pm.
  • Black Sabbitch in Concert at Scout Bar See a performance from the all-female tribute band to Black Sabbath, Black Sabbitch, and hear all the face-melting hits of the legendary rock band at Scout Bar in Clear Lake. Tickets start at $11. 9pm.
