Visit the spooktacular 5th Annual Haunted House this fall at the National Museum of Funeral History through Wednesday, November 2, 2016.
The annual family-friendly Haunted House at the National Museum of Funeral History is back again this year. Running through Wednesday, November 2, you can visit as often as you’d like exploring different scenes designed to give goose bumps to young and old alike while taking a light-hearted view of a usually very serious subject.
Get spooked as you walk through bone-chilling scenes at this haunted attraction, which is set up like a real home. Visitors will wander through spooky settings, including the welcome parlor, the kitchen, and even a playroom filled with clown toys and other creepy playthings.
All surprises are automated, so adults can rest easy knowing that no actors or other amateur scarers will be lurking around the corner, waiting to pop out screaming.
The Haunted House is rated PG-13 and is recommended for children 12 and up. Children under 12 are allowed to attend if they dare, but must be accompanied by an adult. Uncertain parents and guardians are welcome to walk through the haunted house first, before deciding whether it’s appropriate for their kids.
Halloween Season at the Museum of Funeral History
Be sure to visit the National Museum of Funeral History throughout the season for fall activities that are fun for the whole family. Look at classic and contemporary cars (some cars will even be dressed up) during the annual Halloween Car Show with a fall festival atmosphere on Saturday, October 22, and learn about Latin customs during the Dia de los Muertos Celebration on Saturday, November 5.
