Houston-based performing artist and choreographer Laura Gutierrez has joined with Buffalo Bayou Partnership for a new, site-specific dance performance entitled Line x Light x Color, which will be livestreamed from the vivid display of Carmen Herrera’s Estructuras Monumentales in Buffalo Bayou Park.

Gutierrez is known for her series of solo works and choreographic projects that have taken place in non-traditional venues like Hermann Park and the MFAH sculpture garden, as well as performances at Museo Jumex in Mexico City and La Biennale de la Danse in Lyon, France.

This will be one of the final programming events centered on Estructuras Monumentales, which closes on Friday, April 23, 2021.
